This unit works as expected and really cools down space fast

I don’t think I’d repurchase this again. The coolest setting is 62 degrees and it’s really really loud. There’s a sleep mode but that just wakes me up by switching all night from really loud to really quiet. And even when it’s on the normal mode it eventually raises the temp setting so I don’t see any reason to use the sleep mode. I’ve had old window units which were quieter and got rooms cooler than this one does. The remote is also a pain because it’s not in synch with the unit’s temp if you adjust it on the device itself. 2 stars because I’ve had old window units that work better than this one does.

Working strong no issues, keeps the room igloo cold

Got about a month ago and is working great. We put it in our bedroom and keeps it cold.

Worked well. Cooled my livingroom with 20 plus foot ceilings.

I got this Insignia Portable AC around this time last year. I've only use it when my living room is experiencing summer heat. It works fine. I've never abuse it. As soon as the room is cool enough, I turned it off. With that being said, I few weeks ago after using it the night before, I came home from work and wanted to cool the room, suddenly it won't turn on. On the remote, there was a P1 message ( 1 on a circle ) So I grabbed the manual and started reading what was wrong with it. It say to drain the water which I did but no water came out. I became a bit frustrated so I went to Best Buy to asked if I still have a warranty. According to the sale rep, since its over a year and I didn't buy the extra 2 year warranty, They can't do anything about it. Bummer! This unit was $300 + tax and it didn't even last 2 years.

I have a psychical disability that limits my education level and need help from the public to how setting this up in my farm house

Does a pretty good job. It cools down a bedroom very well, but just does ok in my living room. Happy with the purchase.

Very nice unit. Replaced older ac. I checked reviews and I couldn’t agree more. Very quiet and efficient.

I would not recommend this product. Struggles to cool down a room during the middle of the day. Cool at night though, thus the extra star.

This is the nicest unit I own. Love the swivel setting. It has more options then some different brands at the price level.

Runs perfect! Slimline so it takes up much less space. May grab another one for the upstairs room!

Great air conditioner but could be a little stronger in cooling power.

Keeps the place cool with an acceptable amount of noise but once it gets dirty there's no way to clean it. We've tried every it for two years now the unit smells like rotten eggs. Pretty scary since it's in a baby's room.

I don’t know if it is my high ceilings or what, what this ac does not cool my 15x11 room well. I would think that decreasing the temp would allow it to work harder, but it seems to blow out the same air. It helps with the area directly by my bed that it is like 2 feet away from, but the rest of the room is as warm as my apartment.
