We bought this to get us through a couple of days when our central a/c went out. We were in a fix and are so grateful for Best Buy. Easy set up. Placed in our bedroom and it kept us cool and comfortable. A little like the a/c units in hotel rooms. We recommend it. And it’s cheaper than finding a hotel or B&B that will allow us and our two dogs!

Our home AC went out (evaporator coils needed replacing) and long story short, due to COVID shortages, no parts were available for 5 weeks. We live in south Texas, this 5 week episode lasted from mid May to June. It was hot. And it was humid. We bought two of these units to keep us cool during the 5 weeks. Work excellent, better than what we expected. Not sure why people complain about noise. We slept well with them on.

Absolutely loved how great this purchase turned out! It is a bit loud but I normally leave it on during the day so my room is nice and cold once it’s time for bed.

I got the 300 sqft model for a pretty significant discount on a one-day sale and I will say that it is a good unit and probably worth what I ended up paying for it, but it might not be quite as good as other units. I transfer it between 2 small rooms, the largest being probably about 150 sqft, so it definitely cools the rooms, but the minor issues are that the remote does not always work the first time, and the thermostat is consistently about 3-4 degrees lower than the actual room temperature. So if I want my room to be 70-71 degrees, I have to set the AC unit to 67. Certainly not a big deal and would not prevent me from recommending this to others. Also, as my windows are a little wider than usual, I had to use one of the extensions, which almost made the exhaust vent plate too wide, but it just fits with the hose attached, so all good there. I will also mention that as I live in a high humidity environment (consistently around 75%), I do need to empty the water out of the bottom of the unit fairly frequently. This is easily done by removing the drain plug at the bottom.

Bought it because I wanted a dehumidifier with an internal pump. The dehumidifier works as expected and we haven't had any issues with it. We only run it when needed but the build quality seems good and the wheels make it easy for my wife to move if she needs to. Would recommend.

We live in a mobile home..which is like living in an oven in summer. Needed something quickly and opted for this product. Arrived fast and in great shape. Very heavy, but easy to set up. I dont use the remote, but its been great so far. Keeps main luving area cool..at times, I have to turn it down..it gets cold. Its not as loud as what others claim. No liuder than a fan or other A/C. I am happy with it.

This is my 2nd AC unit, We LOVE this. Its cools great. A bit loud to get used to but the pros outweigh the cons of noise.

This is a mediocre AC. Set on the cool setting, it takes a while for you to feel it cool the air in a medium sized room, and throughout noise is an issue. The specifications say it produces 56 decibels, but that is misleading at best; when the compressor is on, it is closer to 71 Db based on my decibel measurer, when measured within 2 meters of unit. Indeed, the buzz of the compressor is deafening. If you are considering this model for a home office, look elsewhere. I bought this to replace a window unit, but I would buy a window unit again. I found the window unit to be more powerful, less noisy, and more efficient. Eventually, you do feel the room cooling. It took 40-45 minutes for the temperature in the room to go from 84 degrees to 78 degrees.

Does what it says it does. Cools and dries a small room. Easy to set up and install. It takes up some floor space and may not be as powerful as some window a/c's but that is the trade-off. We needed this portable a/c for windows where a standard window unit would not work either because the frame/sill would not accept a supporting bracket or because it is a lateral sliding window.

Bought this from online with the open box discount (which usually means somebody bought it and don’t use it so it was returned). I was able to pick up within an hour after i purchased online. I came home set it up (nothing was missing it was practically new) and within a short amount of time I was able to cool my back two bedrooms (with the help of a few fans). You won’t be disappointed this was a great little investment I was unsure at first because I don’t have money to just throw away on stuff that don’t work but this for sure gets the job done.

Our AC compressor went down during a SC summer and this unit saved our lives. Easy to set up and works great!

Works well, got this for a good deal and its been nothing but superb. Cold, easy to install, and will be easy to remove as well!

Over all great product! Has worked great the last two summers.

This is the second portable air conditioner I have. The first was bought by my hvac guy and I was not too impressed. This was easy to install and it cooled my attic space really well and very fast.

This thing is pretty legit. It does well cooling down a rough 600 square foot space and I keep it between 69-72° a majority of the summer. Just wish it came with a longer hose

I had to get this when our AC went out in our house. The AC company said it would be 6 days so went into bestbuy and picked this up. It kept my whole downstairs (living room, kitchen,dining room 68 degreese with no issies. Easy set up and hassle free!

It’s fine for what it is. Cool air for a small area, little noisy but not terrible. The timer function on it sucks, doesnt really work. So you have to be good about turning it on and off for electricity reasons.

Cools the room down quickly. Easy to use. Portable so can be wheeled to other rooms in the house.

I love this portable AC ! very compact compared to others I have seen. Not as noisy and blows super cold air !!!
