Our AC compressor went down during a SC summer and this unit saved our lives. Easy to set up and works great!

Cools the room down quickly. Easy to use. Portable so can be wheeled to other rooms in the house.

Great unit, my a.c. went out upstairs in the middle of summer. The thermostat was reading 90 degrees upstairs. I bought this portable air conditioner from my local Best Buy and was pleasantly surprised. I installed it in my bedroom about 7:00pm and my upstairs temp was showing 90 degrees. I let it run for a few hours before I went to bed and all I can say is that before morning I needed a blanket. I ran it 24 hours for about 4 days until my main a.c. unit was fixed and it did a great job cooling. In the heat of the day it kept the room comfortable, but at night it gets down right chilly. Definitely a great investment.

Don’t know about 300 sq feet but it cools up my 10x10 sq feet tiny room very fast in just a few minutes. Not as portable as I thought it would be, still it needs to be near the window like about 5 feet. It’s also quite loud, can barely listen to a tablet playing video at max volume.

I love this portable AC ! very compact compared to others I have seen. Not as noisy and blows super cold air !!!

This air conditioner does exactly what we wanted it to do. We needed it for the basement level which is typically the coolest room in the house, but in the dead of summer it is HOT down there. It’s a bit noisy but does the trick

Ice Cold during the summer of 2023. Easy set-up in the window without having to remove the screen. Detailed install instructions, detailed user operation. On wheels so no more hernias. I would buy it again.

This insignia A/C unit performs much better than one of the large Honeywell A/Cs that we’ve had. It outputs cool air that you can actually feel at distances greater than 2ft, which I can’t say the same for the Honeywell

It does the job. The remote has a weird delay and sometimes doesn’t work at all. It has a weird smell to it. Mine was open box or I would give it 1/5 but I do think it has to do with the machine on some level because it got worse for the next couple weeks (no it wasn’t on its side before opening and it is level). Honestly the biggest annoyance is how loud it is. Sometimes I turn it off to get a break. But it does cool the large living room and exercise room and being in an unfair conditioned apartment would be much worse.

My AC went out recently on one of the hottest weekends this summer. I went directly to my Best Buy website and decided to purchase an Insignia Portable AC unit, and I was pleased to see that it was available at my local Best Buy. I made a curbside pickup the following morning, and had it home and set-up within the hour. One of the best purchases I've made this summer. The Insignia Portable AC unit is Beautiful, and works flawlessly. Thanks for keeping me Cool Best Buy.

Easy to set up. Can the air hose be positioned at the of the unit? A little loud, but liveable.

I've had it just 24 hours, but it stopped after running only about 14 hours. Powers up, lights on, but will not run on any setting (fan, cool, auto), makes a very slight humming sound for about two seconds, then off for a few seconds, repeating that cycle. No water in unit, no issue with power. Have to return it unfortunately. Couple of thoughts... one, it does produce cold air (when working) and cools the room fairly quickly. Remote is nice, as is the timer feature. But as others have said, it is LOUD. Easily twice as loud as the one it replaced (which was a higher BTU unit). Oddly, there is no tech support number to call... just an email address on the website that promises a response within two days. Seems simple enough that they would be able to answer the phone for a five minute call to avoid a warranty return, but apparently not.

I buy this AC is so good make my Aparment very cold freezing and nice I like it a lot I’m very happy to buy this AC Thank you bust buy for this best AC a have it .

I haven’t tried it in larger rooms so can’t comment on that, but it works great in a small room. My only complaint is that the hose that comes with it is a little short and barely reaches my window. It’s hard to keep it in the window kit that I bought for my crank window. But it makes my room very cool.

Bought it because I wanted a dehumidifier with an internal pump. The dehumidifier works as expected and we haven't had any issues with it. We only run it when needed but the build quality seems good and the wheels make it easy for my wife to move if she needs to. Would recommend.

Got t the floor unit for a great price! 200 is the right price for this product. Keeps the room chilled but the remote feature does work that great during the night when you can’t see the buttons

Bought this when our AC went out upstairs. The unit was easy to install and it runs well. You do need to drain it to make sure that it doesn't overflow. Overall I would purchase this unit again.

This is a Great Unit and I saved a Little money buying open box. The Remote is a Must for my use - since I'm using the unit in a Garage which is about 400 sq feet. I do a lot of Hobby Work in my Garage and this keeps it just Right for the simmer Heat, it only takes about an hour to drop the Temp about 4 degrees (84 to 80) which works for me.
