I live an a house with people who stay cold, I’m always hot so I got this so I didn’t have to fight with everyone and could have my room cold with out a hideous window unit. This was worth it and feels great.

This Insignia 300 Sq Ft Portable Air Conditioner is GREAT. It keeps the room it is in very cool, in fact I think it is more then what I needed but the extra cooling can't be bad. I'm unable to comment on reliability at this time because I've only had it a few weeks so I'll follow up with that later.

This is meant for a medium sized room but it cools my large living room, dining room, kitchen and hallways all the way to the front entrance. When people want into the apartment it feels like we have central air conditioning. I totally recommend it.

The reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because its LOUD with which ever mode you use. It’s twice as loud as a window unit. It’s not “really” portable. You can’t just unplug it and take to from room to room without having to take out the entire window venting tube system and redo it again. It cools nice but I have a small room so I’m not sure about bigger rooms.

great product for a small room. Its not super loud but it does drown out noise just like a fan would.

Love this air conditioner it keeps my room cool in the summer

We bought this for my sons room (located over the garage) which is always HOT. This really helps keep it cool during the hotter parts of the day in Texas. It’s heavy but can be moved around if needed.

It works as well as a window AC with the added bonus of being somewhat mobile. I was disappointed at the limited mobility due to the length of the hose. I was hoping to be able to move it between two rooms and can’t because the hose is too short. This is ultimately my fault for not reading the description carefully, which I suggest others do.

Purchased to cool my bedroom which is approx 150 sq ft. Cools the room quickly but is a bit loud.

I've had this unit in my apartment for a couple weeks now. It works so well to keep my room cool. It's a bit louder than I expected. It does a great job though! If recommend this if you needed to cool a larger room and window units don't cut it.

My son is renting a house in Katy, Texas and the landlord will not have the central A/C serviced. Due to the central A/C not working properly, the humidity could not be taken out of the air. Anything with metal in his room was starting to rust and his clothes were getting mildew on them, due to the humidity. When I found out about this, I researched and read reviews about portable A/C's. The homeowner's association would not allow a window unit. I purchased this portable A/C and my son set it up and had it running immediately. He has been extremely happy with it. He says he leaves it on 72 degrees and his room stays very cool and the humidity problem has been solved. He said it cools part of the rest of their house also, when his bedroom door is open. I would recommend this portable A/C for anyone for a bedroom.

It works well. My room is cold now. It also has a remote.

Unit works as expected. Had to purchase then when i had some a/c issues at my house. Unit works good for the squar footage it covers. The only thing with these units is how noisy they are when running. Overall we are happy with the unit.

Cools well, setup slightly difficult (as all portable ACs are) for my horizontal sliding windows. Easy to move around the room, blows nice cold air, and draining is simple. Very well worth the cost.

Keeps the rooms cold. Haven’t needed to drain them yet. Over a month of use in 85-90+ degree weather outside. Can be alittle loud but cheaper than buying new central air.

Very easy to install. A little bit heavy for transportation. Too loud for night use.

It really gets the job done ✅ so I don’t have any real complaints other than it is a little bit loud. But that is to be expected with indoor units.

Good ac conditioner it keep the house cool and fresh

I've installed the unit to vent out of a small awning window. Creating a mask that fit the window and vent attatchement was fairly easy, and is working so far. My only complaint is that the unit doesn't allow you to connect it to an external drain during opeation. Nor does it work as a dehumidifier when the exhaust hose is connected. Since we live in a very humid climate, the result is a cool, but damp room. Disconnecting the cooler and switching to dehumidifier mode for a few hours helps, but is not ideal.
