Awesome cooling. But lil bit loud, Its perfect w for washington summers. Definetly does the job.

We love this thing! Keeps our bedroom cool at night while we sleep without having to cool the whole house. It does have quite a bit of volume to it but we don’t mind it.

This ac is amazing... The only thing i dont like is the noise is loud at nightnight other then that my room is always nice and fresh especially in this hot weather...

Works very well for our small upstairs space! Is a little noisy if your house is dead quiet but it cools quickly and doesn't need to kick on very much or very long.

Good for a small space like a dorm room but not powerful enough for a space any larger. A tad bit loud but not overwhelmingly.

i actually have two of the 300 sq ft Portable Air Conditioners. They both are working properly. They are upstairs room that are very hard to cool. One is 240 sq feet and the room wasn't exceptionally cool but acceptable. The other one cooled better in a smaller room. I gave 5 stars because they working properly and no surprises. Moisture was very little about a half a cup after 6 hours use. They are both self evaporating so I didn't hook up the supplied drain hose permanently.

This system is great at cooling but is very loud. The sound it makes is not like white noise. Works great.

Quiet, easy installation and cooling your room off within say 1-1/2 hrs, would buy again

Very fine AC unit for my grandson's bedroom. Cools and dehumidifies like a champ. The remote is a plus for convenient temperature adjustment as well as fan speed. Easy to hook up and enjoy.

After purchasing the BBY cust service rep told me to stand it up for a day prior to turning on to allow the condenser to settle the gas appropriately. So, I did just that. After a day and half of waiting I set up. Ensured the seals on the window were tight and even used additional gorilla brand adhesive tape just to make sure. Turning it on the first night and the room of approximately 150sf smelled like what I would describe rotten egg. This smell eventually lessened, but is always pretty constant when the machine is on in the enclosed room. Mind you I only turn the machine on at night and set the timer for about 3 hours so that I can fall asleep extra cold. The room is an addition to the house and for whatever reason the central A/C seems to cool the main house very well, but not as well for the additional room and bathroom. Needless to say, I've purchased a room air purifier and ionator for about another $200 and it seems to have helped a bit with the smell the a/c was letting off, but it is still pretty persistent. Now, I am not sure if the BBY I bought it from sold me a return, but I would say that it shouldn't smell like that. As for the cooling, the lowest setting is 62F and that's where I have it and on high or else it really won't cool down the room much. Don't expect it to cool down the room much during the day and South Texas heat. I've checked the exhaust hose and everything else have done it according to the manual. Seems like I got somewhat of a dud. It does somewhat work, best at night of course, but not as I expected. I didn't return it because it's a quite the ordeal to put everything back together in its packaging. Looks like running the air purifier and buying more scents/room deodorizers will be part of the strategy in the long run for this unit.

I bought it a year ago and it still running good It best for tiny rooms not for a regular size bedroom also not sure why but after 8 min it bring a terrible smell it been like that every since i first bought it. I drain the water and clean the back filter and it still smell bad if i have to guess the type smell it smell like mold.

We live in an old but well-maintained brick house with 3 finished upper-level floors. All the rooms are occupied with 4 teenagers, my wife and I. I also have a home office that doubles as my den. Air conditioning is an issue because until recently we only depended upon a few window units that show their age - ok but overtaxed for the size of the house. We bought 2 of these units and it appears that the benefactors of these units are satisfied. I don't know much about them but we have experienced good results with them.

Purchased this to supplement our central a/c and this works great to cool our living room

It was what we needed, something we could roll in when wanted air circulation and cooling. Easy enough to pickup and move to garage when not needed.

Excellent choice so far. I bought it to use ut in my bedroom and ir working well. The installation was straightforward, the hose fits my windows perfectly.

It works great. We installed it easily. It is a bit loud but it does cool down our room pretty quickly. I like that it has a remote so we do not have to get up and turn it on or off.
