Good for small rooms, gets very cold. Very easy to use.

Easy to use and functions well. Just what I needed to help cool the apartment.

i actually have two of the 300 sq ft Portable Air Conditioners. They both are working properly. They are upstairs room that are very hard to cool. One is 240 sq feet and the room wasn't exceptionally cool but acceptable. The other one cooled better in a smaller room. I gave 5 stars because they working properly and no surprises. Moisture was very little about a half a cup after 6 hours use. They are both self evaporating so I didn't hook up the supplied drain hose permanently.

I bought this for a smaller room and it gets freezing cold the only thing I don’t like is having to use a industrial size bucket to catch the water so I wake up every 2 to 3 hours to empty the bucket so it doesn’t overflow but I still love this air conditioner. Its not loud and has wheels so when winter comes I will roll it to the closet and it was an easy assembly, I hope this helps.

Extremely happy with my purchase of the insignia portable Air Conditioner. Cooled the room really fast. Has a way to turn off the led light at night. No annoying light on the ceiling. The remote makes it easy to adjust the use of the air conditioner based on need and comfort, it is quieter than my last air conditioner. Really helped me out during our heat wave.

This is a great unit. The only downside was that I needed to buy a heavy-duty extension cord due to the way my electrical grid is laid out. If it's blowing your circuit breaker, buy a cord like I did -- MUST BE 15V OR HIGHER -- and plug it into a different outlet in a room that is seldom used. Seriously recommend, and it works great. My PC room is always in the low 70's.

Purchased this for our bedroom in our cape cod - after 5 years of hot flashes, I've had enough! This little guy, along with our ceiling fan has provided hours of comfort. Easy to install and easy to use! A remote control is also lovely.

Excellent choice so far. I bought it to use ut in my bedroom and ir working well. The installation was straightforward, the hose fits my windows perfectly.

Very fine AC unit for my grandson's bedroom. Cools and dehumidifies like a champ. The remote is a plus for convenient temperature adjustment as well as fan speed. Easy to hook up and enjoy.

After purchasing the BBY cust service rep told me to stand it up for a day prior to turning on to allow the condenser to settle the gas appropriately. So, I did just that. After a day and half of waiting I set up. Ensured the seals on the window were tight and even used additional gorilla brand adhesive tape just to make sure. Turning it on the first night and the room of approximately 150sf smelled like what I would describe rotten egg. This smell eventually lessened, but is always pretty constant when the machine is on in the enclosed room. Mind you I only turn the machine on at night and set the timer for about 3 hours so that I can fall asleep extra cold. The room is an addition to the house and for whatever reason the central A/C seems to cool the main house very well, but not as well for the additional room and bathroom. Needless to say, I've purchased a room air purifier and ionator for about another $200 and it seems to have helped a bit with the smell the a/c was letting off, but it is still pretty persistent. Now, I am not sure if the BBY I bought it from sold me a return, but I would say that it shouldn't smell like that. As for the cooling, the lowest setting is 62F and that's where I have it and on high or else it really won't cool down the room much. Don't expect it to cool down the room much during the day and South Texas heat. I've checked the exhaust hose and everything else have done it according to the manual. Seems like I got somewhat of a dud. It does somewhat work, best at night of course, but not as I expected. I didn't return it because it's a quite the ordeal to put everything back together in its packaging. Looks like running the air purifier and buying more scents/room deodorizers will be part of the strategy in the long run for this unit.

Can’t figure out how the water comes out unless I pull the plug then it floods the floor. Other than that, it’s easy and works fine. I wouldn’t use it for more than 200sf though.

We live in an old but well-maintained brick house with 3 finished upper-level floors. All the rooms are occupied with 4 teenagers, my wife and I. I also have a home office that doubles as my den. Air conditioning is an issue because until recently we only depended upon a few window units that show their age - ok but overtaxed for the size of the house. We bought 2 of these units and it appears that the benefactors of these units are satisfied. I don't know much about them but we have experienced good results with them.

Perfect size for our larger bedroom. Has a good size hose if you want to move it around a bit. Cools our bedroom very nicely.

It worked for what we wanted it to work for. It was perfect for a bedroom space. We do wish the venting hose was longer for another space we planned on having another unit in. It was easy to install and to take out on those days when you wanted fresh air through the windows. Our electric bill this summer was less than in previous years as well. Would definitely recommend this unit if you want to place it in closer proximity to the window it is being vented from.

Seem good for the price. Really only needed a couple days a year, so easier and better than Grandma fussing with window shakers, and definitely no need for heat pump install. Did a much easier install using dryer vent exhausts thru the wall and recycled the weird window vent plastic things.... Now she can wheel these away to a closet 11 months out of the year and very simply slide the hose onto the dryer vents those days she needs them...

Works great, sometimes gets stinky, sometimes shuts off when it is getting hot out.

Works great ! The window attachment could be a little better but it performs like it said it would. Cools the room off quick. A little noisy but not bad.

It works great. We installed it easily. It is a bit loud but it does cool down our room pretty quickly. I like that it has a remote so we do not have to get up and turn it on or off.

I like this unit better than the window unit. It so easy to install and convenient to move around the house. No heavy lifting!
