We own 2 of these. We bought 1 for my son because the upstairs bedroom he sleeps in at his rental gets hot in the summer. He loves it. We also bought one for our house when our upstairs air conditioning unit went out. Glad we did. These units are easy to install, fairly quiet and keep a normal size bedroom at the temperature we want. Lots of features for a base model also

Setup was easy. Don’t like the draining setup . Had to clean my floor of water a few times. Works good cooling

This is my second unit we purchased another one for my daughter apartment at college. So far so good it works as advertised and has made the upstairs bedroom very livable even during our recent 115F heat wave. For around $300 this has really saved our family. In full disclosure we do have central air but very limited airflow in that room. Ultimately these units are not a replacement for a traditional 12,000 BTU window unit but as far as blowing ice cold air they rock. Yes, I would buy it again not sure about how long it will last but for now I'm happy.

I bought this for a smaller room and it gets freezing cold the only thing I don’t like is having to use a industrial size bucket to catch the water so I wake up every 2 to 3 hours to empty the bucket so it doesn’t overflow but I still love this air conditioner. Its not loud and has wheels so when winter comes I will roll it to the closet and it was an easy assembly, I hope this helps.

i love this AC. and the price it was very affordable. easy to set up. i love that it comes with a remote. its not too incredibly loud (for me)

Our central air went down just in time for summer and, with both a 3 year old and a pregnant wife, toughing out the heat wasn't an option. So, we got this one for the master bedroom and it has worked VERY well. I would recommend getting some 3M velco strips for the remote and a wall somewhat away from the unit to get the room close in 'Follow me' mode. I would take this over a window mount unit just for the fact that, once we have the central air again, we can move this to the garage and downstairs with the computers

Bought this for my garage and while it does cool the garage, it could definitely be better for the price

Easy to set up and to use ac units!! Better than the big window units that you install in the window. Cools up the room fast!

This is a great unit. The only downside was that I needed to buy a heavy-duty extension cord due to the way my electrical grid is laid out. If it's blowing your circuit breaker, buy a cord like I did -- MUST BE 15V OR HIGHER -- and plug it into a different outlet in a room that is seldom used. Seriously recommend, and it works great. My PC room is always in the low 70's.

Extremely happy with my purchase of the insignia portable Air Conditioner. Cooled the room really fast. Has a way to turn off the led light at night. No annoying light on the ceiling. The remote makes it easy to adjust the use of the air conditioner based on need and comfort, it is quieter than my last air conditioner. Really helped me out during our heat wave.
