I also have vertical sliding windows. So this went in the window and had the extension I need so there were no gaps. It works pretty good. It does make noise like most other ac’s. I like the night noise so it’s perfect for me. If you need absolute quiet when you sleep this is not for you. Overall good product.

When it’s hot outside, my room is the hottest in the house. This AC was great in helping me cool my room down and feel comfortable. My windows are also smaller than the average window, and they cannot fit a regular AC. This one was great because it came with smaller window inserts of varying sizes to basically fit any window that you have.
