We have this in our basement where it’s cooling my home office space, and it’s keeping the place comfortable. It’s been about a month and there’s been no need to drain any condensate, which has been a pleasant surprise. The only hassle was setting it up to use our little basement casement windows to exhaust; ours swing out rather than slide, so the window kit couldn’t be used as intended.

Great AC portable unit.

I tried to drain the condensate water but there was no need to drain it. The unit recycles the condensation water very efficiently. Bought it to supplement the central AC for a room that was over the garage which generally gets hotter in the summer time and colder in the winter. No need to buy a bigger unit since there isn't much of a difference when you compare portable units.

Worked well, but broke after 2 years

It did generate a lot of noise however. Unfortunately, it has now stopped working, just after two years of purchasing it.
