    It has a dial for many different voltage modes which makes this easy to use as a limited variable power supply, though each mode is limited to at most 3A. Useful for finding out which DC barrel jack some devices use for power, such as routers, network switches, laptops, retro game consoles, etc.

    I have a Dell laptop and for whatever reason this device did not charge the computer. I had to intensely push in the part that attaches to the computer. It could be something mechanically wrong with the computer itself and have nothing to do with the charger.
