AND I specifically asked if it had the correct USB C connector and was assured it did have one. It did not. I am upset that the sales person after I explained that I had a Samsung S22 and the connector was the same on both sides, and he argued with me and said the one end had a USB and I said NO more than once he finally seemed to get it when he said oh you have a Samsung. I refrained from saying DUH. But he still was adamant it would work. Maybe a little more training would help.

They did not work with the outlets and almost caused a fire. I plugged it in and then began charging my phone and laid down. I smelled something burning and realized it was that outlet! The cord to the phone was fried but luckily my phone was okay. All of my friends bought $10 plug ins from Amazon and they all worked great! Not to mention, the return policy was only two weeks. I wasn’t even back from my trip yet before the return policy ended! I’ve always been a fan of Best Buy and stood by their products so this was very disappointing to me. I bought the USB portal as well which also caused a burning smell (same brand). $75 down the drain.

How am I supposed to use something that is stuck?

If used in the the wrong place with the wrong device you will be buying new. Some devices are rated for dual currents but unless you are absolutely sure just get a converter/ adapter.

I think the salesperson misunderstood (best construction) what we needed. All we wanted was a simple adapter from EU to USA electrical. What we were sold was nothing that would help that, despite what we were told.
