Not well made. The cord is defective. If you move the phone or touch the cable it stops charging and you don’t know it. I thought I had 30 days for defective device but I guess not.

horrible product doesnt all ways charge have to plug and replug in all the time

Ordered 2 of these and both of them broke on the same day. Normal use, haven't even had for a month. The plug part broke off in mine and my husbands phones.

In the world of USB-C chargers, there are many. Some provide 3amps at 5v, some provide other power ratings. Few do power delivery correctly and even fewer do power delivery and are small enough to fit in a briefcase pouch. The Insignia 30w compact charger meets all that criteria and for an affordable price. Now, there’s not a whole lot to say about chargers for most people. However since Apple added fast charging back in the iPhone 8/X days, it’s been possible to garner a charge utilizing 18w of power. This means you can charge approximately 50% in 30m on a modern iPhone. This adapter does that quite efficiently, barely getting warm thanks to its modern circuitry. The included Apple MFi-Certified USB-C cable is almost worth the price of admission. Apple charges nearly the price of this charger and cable for their cable. It’s flexible and has a solid connection. The adapter is a 30w USB-C PD charger. It supports PD at 30w with the following ratings: 5V 3A, 9V 3A, 15V 2A, 20V 1.5A. The fact it can do 20V means that it can charge many laptops and even the iPad M1 efficiently. Charging the iPad, it charged quite quickly. Testing the fast charging claims, I was able to take my iPhone 12 Pro Max from 10% battery to 80% in 40m flat. That’s 70% battery in 40m, so it’s definitely charging at the maximum rate it can (and on a partially worn battery). It obviously slowed from there, taking almost an hour to reach 100%, but that’s more of a function of the iPhone’s charging algorithm trying to prevent damage to the lithium polymer cell. Overall for the price it’s hard to go wrong. This is a high quality charger with Best Buy backing up the brand/device. Highly recommended for iPhone’s, iPads, and even MacBook’s (my Pro charged slowly and would do so completely while asleep). If you’re in need of a charger, look no further.

I returned it when the tip came off the cord within 5 days.

The box wore out in 4 months. I would definitely not purchase this.

Plug is good but the cord stopped working after few days

This is ideal for business/frequent travelers who want to pack light but still have a very powerful and versatile product that can fast charge almost everything. It has a minimal footprint and is very light + a very convenient foldable plug. It also looks really cool/premium with matte white plastic and glossy edges. The box also includes a 6-ft long USB-C to lightening cable which is an icing on the cake. After a week or so of using, it does live up to its claim. I got this USB C charger for my iPhone 13 Pro Max and my wife's iPhone too. The charger did not disappoint; charging my phone much quicker than Apple’s charger. It is very well constructed with a pleasing appearance and convenient foldable plug. This 30W charger is quite small but packs very good power, judging by how fast my iPhone and other devices charge. I have not noticed my phone getting hot or even very warm. Had no problems with it falling out of the outlet either, and the port provide a snug fit (gave it a few good tugs and everything stayed in place). This charging block is reliable (especially as compared to some junk out there) and it charges our new phones like a 30W charger should. I also use it to charge my portable 20,000 mAh backup power bank, all without it getting hot the way it did when charging with other chargers. This charging block must have some very good regulating circuitry in it in order to do so. The charger so far works perfectly, have absolutely no complaints. For me it was very hard to switch to a different brand other than Apple' but I can honestly say this is a good working product for the price which is why it’s getting 5 stars from me.

In today’s fast paced world, a charger that gets your phone up to a full charge in a hurry is a must. There’s nothing more frustrating when you need your phone than having a low battery and knowing that you don’t have time to get a decent charge on it (let alone a full charge). Phones these days do more and more and although batteries are improving, they still can’t seem to keep up with our phone usage. Between phone calls, texts, apps, music/video streaming, and games, I almost always need a charge at some point during the day. I also have only my cell phone (no landline), so I absolutely want to make sure my phone always has a good charge (or at the very least can be charged quickly). Then, I’d like to do all of this without breaking the bank (after all, I already did that with the phone). This Insignia charger provided all of those things and more. It charges my phone and does it in a hurry, much faster than the standard charger received with the phone. As a bonus, the prongs on the charger fold in to make it that much smaller and easy to take with you. I do have a charger in my car, but I rely on that for music and sometimes directions when I’m driving, so it’s still tough to get it to a full charge in a car ride. I keep this charger with me so that I can get a quick charge just about anywhere. It’s a good, solid charger that is easy to take with you and doesn’t cost a fortune. What more can you ask for?

The lightning cable is lengthy and the charging is incredibly fast. I was a bit worried about the sturdiness at the the connection between the lightning cable and the charge port. Albeit the speed is something to be delighted about, fast-charging has some rather alarming setbacks. Higher voltage means more heat, more heat requires improved heat dissipation. This is difficult to achieve due to the fact that devices are being engineered to a certain standard that commands them being wafer-thin. This means your device gets really hot, really fast. The result is battery-life is depleted. I haven’t seen too much of this because phones manage batteries much more efficiently, especially with the updates that are rolled out regularly. The positive thing about this is just that this is absolutely convenient if you need to charge your phone after you’ve forgotten the night before and you have an hour before work starts. I know I’m not the only one who’s been in this conundrum and this charger makes that issue go away very fast. I’ve had no issues with this charger and now I carry it around daily. It never leaves my bag, unless I need to charge of course.

Borrowed my guy's unit when stuck without juice. Saved the day with this charger to support my iPhone 11 Pro Max so unable to comment on how this works with other models. Have never had the convenience of folding prongs. May seem like minutiae but really appreciate how that feature affords easier packing into my tech gear pouch. Moreover, the bright white color of the charging brick makes the unit easier to identify in the clutter of all the other black tech gear packed together in a tight space. Of course, most importantly, is the charging speed. Comes in handy when I inadvertently get depleted while on the go. Superior design affords the back up needed when my standard unit cord fatigued in two places. Not sure why the company would sell fundamental connectors that have a planned obsolescence, inevitably undermining the reputation of an entire product line. Will submit feedback directly to marketing and administrators that loyal consumers deserve durable essentials. So far, can recommend this reasonably priced that so far demonstrates a higher level of material science than what is delivered with the phone's original kit.

The Insignia 30w usb-c compact charger for Apple/Iphone is a very solid buy. While being meant for the Iphone 14 pro only, it uses an Apple lightning end to plug in the phone so you can charge many other devices with this cable. The difference though is this supports the full 30w super fast charging on the Iphone 14 pro, in comparison to the 15-16w on the Iphone 13. The build quality of the charger is pretty good. The wall plug has a slight bit of weight to it, so it doesn't feel like its going to break apart very easily, and the 6ft cable has a bit of thickness to it so it feels very durable. Would have been better to include a no tangle braided cable but this one works great, and includes a velcro tie wrap attached to the cable for easy cable management. Overall, the charging speed on the 14 pro is super fast and charges from a couple percent to 50% in about 25 minutes. It's about 35-40 minutes on other model phones. The only downside to this charger is that the wall plug is not really on the compact side. It is bulky for a wall plug, but it may just be considered compact compared to the size of other 30w chargers.

If you're constantly on the go and need something that can give your phone a good charge in a short amount of time the Insignia 30 Watt charger has you covered. As you can see below under an hour I was almost at full charge with my iPhone 13 Pro Max. At 4:02 PM I was down to 16% battery life, that's when I plugged my phone into the Insignia charger. 4:16 PM: 44% 4:39 PM: 75% 5:09 PM: 91% A little over an hour you can be fully topped off, which is excellent if you're in a rush and don't have much time to charge your phone in between meetings or going out for the evening, and also the cable that it comes with is more than generous with the cord length. The included cable is not only long but it's also well built, so it should last you for a while. You can also used it to charge other devices like your iPad and including your MacBook Air since the charger is rated at 30 Watts. Overall I highly recommend it if you're in the market for a new charger, It's compact compared to the other 30 Watt chargers in the market, and it's fully compatible with the iPhone to take advantage of the faster charging speeds.

This is a great little iPhone charger. It is a 30W USB-C to Lightning charger. The cable is 6ft, and the charger itself features convenient folding prongs. That's a nice feature to have if you will be traveling a lot with this charger. The cable and charger both feel really well made. The cable is thick and sturdy feeling, without being to stiff. And the wall wart just has a nice solid feel to it, not like some of the cheaper chargers available. The performance of this charger is where it really shines. As mentioned before, it is a 30W charger, so it can charge pretty fast. I tested it with an iPhone 12 Pro Max, and I went from about 15% charge to 90% in about 30 minutes. I was very impressed with this performance. And the fact that it comes with a 6 foot cable means I don't have to worry about being too close to a plug. Overall, I am just very impressed with this charger and cable combo. It offers high quality, convenience, and superb performance. It is everything I am looking for in a charger, and I highly recommend.
