I never had an Insignia before, so I was skeptical, but the picture is gorgeous, and the sound is good quality. The down side......I am very angry that I bought it open box Certified to put in my daughter's room, and we waited about 29 days to finally mount it, and all of the metal screw ports were missing from the back......so now I am stuck with a tv I either have to pay to get fixed, or never be able to mount it.

Unfortunately, we are unable to control the capabilities of other company’s universal remote controls, but we have found that most programmable remotes do have a “scan” or “search” function in them, which will allow you to find an RF frequency bundle which should perform most if not all operations. Contact your service provider for more details on programming their remote control.

The reason I give this tv 4 stars instead of 5 is because I bought an open box. I bought the excellent certified that was supposed to come with all parts but it did not. It was missing the power adapter and screws to screw in the base stand of the tv. I went to a Best Buy store with my receipt and luckily they gave me all the missing parts. If you buy this tv, do not buy open box unless you want to go to the store or order missing parts.
