    I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend. We hooked it up using a HD cable and the picture is very clear. While it is not 1080p, the 720p is good for bedroom use. Audio is loud enough to where a sound bar is not needed and the in screen navigation is easy to follow. One dislike is the start up screen, it takes about 3 secs to get to the television.

    This truly is an amazing value. We set out to buy a 55" that we had researched, and even pre shopped at Best Buy. But after seeing this deal, we decided to try it. Great decision. Saved between about $250-300 by giving up the slight difference in screen size. A great television at a simply amazing price. You can't go wrong with this.
