This Insignia is a below average set. It has poor sight lines, difficulty turning the set off and on, average sound quality and setup can be a curcular maze. In addition, the included remote control is very poor. That said, the picture quality is fairly good, if you are viewing the screen directly. The internet connection seems to work well. All-in-all, this set is a below average item except for its low price T

Love everythng except the rear speakers. The sound is ok, but front facing speakers like they had up until just a few years ago would be much preferred. And don't tell me to get a sound bar. The thing HAS speakers, but they are in the WRONG place. Pictures great. Price was right. No other complaints.

    Slow, unintuitive interface

Very user unfriendly. - Sluggish navigation and super disorganized user interface. - Interface is not intuitive. Finding stuff is a nightmare. There's a Menu button and a Settings button that take you to different places. Took longer than it should have to find the Network settings screen. - If you use this exclusively connected to a computer, you can't set HDMI 1 to be the default input when you power on so you have to boot up your computer, turn the TV on and wait until it decides to respond to multiple remote presses and manually navigate to HDMI 1 every time you turn it on. - If you don't have the remote handy and want to turn off the TV, you have to press the power button, wait until the menu comes up and then click four or five times to navigate to power and wait for the TV to turn off. Navigation options without the remote are extremely poor and carelessly implemented. - Tried to watch YT and then look at what other channels were available but the slow response time made it a waste. - When my computer is connected to this TV, the PC desktop exceeds the size of the TV screen so stuff is cut off. I can find no setting to "pull in" the corners to make it fit or any options to adjust the picture in any of the settings. The picture on the TV is nice once you get where you need to go, but it's clunky and slow and being unable to set HDMI 1 as the default input when switched on just results in a lot of wasted time as does trying to scroll through a channel guide and see what's on. I've just been using it as an extra monitor because anything else just takes too much time.

The Insignia 32” F20 Smart TV is an excellent choice for a smaller room or as a secondary TV. The picture quality is sharp and clear in Full HD, and the built-in Fire TV interface is fast and easy to use. Streaming apps load quickly, and Alexa voice control makes navigating effortless. The sound quality is solid for its size, and setup was quick and simple. For the price, it offers amazing value with all the features of bigger TVs in a compact size.

TV has been working flawlessly. It was easy to install and hook up to the wiring of the old TV. Not quite as good of a base as the Toshiba. The HD picture is very crisp. Both the Satellite provider and streaming are working well and easy to use. Of course, it is replacing a Toshiba that was 16 years old, so it has a ways to go before any comments on reliability can be made.

I am very pleased with this purchase. Had not bought a television in quite awhile and was blown away by the improvement in quality for a very reasonable price. I bought the item online and it was ready when I arrived at the store. The attendant was very pleasant and loaded it into my car. It installed quickly and easily. I am not planning to subscribe to the various offerings but I do use the TV on the internet for applications such as YouTube. I am very pleased and considering replacing at least one of my older TVs with another one of the same Insignia 32".

32" insignia is a good quality TV for the price. The sound quality is a tad bit underwhelming especially when using a console. Somehow didn't translate well from using apps to gaming. For gaming the quality wasn't great but it was good enough to keep up. Set up was pretty easy. If you don't want to spend a lot on a TV or maybe for kids room, this is a good buy.

Pros: inexpensive, lightweight, decent sound presets & 1080p HD. Cons: couldn't detect my cable TV channels. 5+ hours wasted with GeekSquad (who doesn't do tech support on TVs at this price so don't waste $ on a useless extended warranty). Had to reset to the original settings (strange a new TV didn't come already set that way) to get a successful scan for cable channels. Picture settings aren't great and none of the presets are that good either: had to use custom settings and mess around with contrast, brightness settings, etc, and then when you switch streaming apps or change to cable viewing it automatically "optimizes" those custom settings so you have to do it all over again. Apart from the 1080p and the price there's not that much this TV has to shout about. Being disabled had to buy online so if I'd returned it would have had to wait for at least 14 days AFTER they got it back for them to process the refund - an additional 5-10 business days, so close to a month before I'd have the money to buy a replacement. Of course if I'd not been disabled and returned it to a store, instant credit back to the card or choose a different TV but Best Buy doesn't like to allow homebound disabled customers that option. At least I know how little BB values its disabled customers. Still, for an "average" (& that's being a little generous) 1080p TV, it's "OK", at best.

      Rating Response:

Thank you for providing detailed feedback on your experience with the TV. We're sorry to hear about the challenges you faced, particularly with the initial setup and the inconvenience caused by the lack of support for cable TV channels. It's disappointing to learn about the limitations of the presets and the inconvenience of having to constantly adjust the picture settings.

We appreciate your insight into the return process and the challenges faced by disabled customers. Your feedback regarding the value of customer support and return policies is important for improving customer experiences in the future.

Overall, it sounds like the TV meets basic needs but falls short in terms of ease of use and customization options. We're grateful for your honest feedback, and we hope that your future experiences with technology are more positive. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
