    Nice TV For The Money

As a TV, it gets 5 stars. As a computer monitor it gets 3 stars at best. So splitting the difference and giving it 4 stars. I bought it to upgrade from my 24 inch Insignia that I used primarily as a monitor, which worked really well. This one is definitely a downgrade in that category. However, as a TV it works really well and has a nice picture. Sound is good, but not great. I wish they had given it a PC picture mode to go along with all the others. I would recommend this product. Just not as a monitor.

Excellent, lightweight functional TV with built-in FireTV. Great for a small room and the interface is very similar to a regular fireTV stick - easy to use.

This was headed for a return and a one star review. The TV itself was good. The Fire TV platform was a complete mess to get set up. This is probably my 10th Fire TV device, and it was the first one that had any setup issues. Internet was showing as 11mbs over ethernet when every other device is clocing 400+ over wireless. App icons were grayed out, and everything was painfully slow to install, load, or use. I finally rebooted the router and access point, and everything fell in place. I've never had to do that with a Fire TV device before, including two cubes I installed recently. In the end everything is working as it should, but I'd sure like that four hours of my life back!

The Fire TV aspect of this unit is the biggest selling point. The Fire TV works well, better than Apple TV most of the time. The picture is clear, sound is right on par with other units that are more expensive.

The Insignia 32-inch TV is a decent option for its price. It’s easy to set up, has a simple interface, and works well for basic viewing. However, the video quality is not the best—colors and sharpness could be improved, especially for HD content. If you’re looking for an affordable TV for casual use, it’s a good choice, but don’t expect top-tier picture quality.

This tv is really nice for the price. I first purchased the 24" for the end of my bedroom dresser. However, with poor eyesight I could not read the print of what the shows were about. I ended up giving that tv to my son for his dresser and purchasing the 32". This size was perfect, small enough to fit, but big enough to read the words. Picture is excellent!

    Slow, unintuitive interface

Very user unfriendly. - Sluggish navigation and super disorganized user interface. - Interface is not intuitive. Finding stuff is a nightmare. There's a Menu button and a Settings button that take you to different places. Took longer than it should have to find the Network settings screen. - If you use this exclusively connected to a computer, you can't set HDMI 1 to be the default input when you power on so you have to boot up your computer, turn the TV on and wait until it decides to respond to multiple remote presses and manually navigate to HDMI 1 every time you turn it on. - If you don't have the remote handy and want to turn off the TV, you have to press the power button, wait until the menu comes up and then click four or five times to navigate to power and wait for the TV to turn off. Navigation options without the remote are extremely poor and carelessly implemented. - Tried to watch YT and then look at what other channels were available but the slow response time made it a waste. - When my computer is connected to this TV, the PC desktop exceeds the size of the TV screen so stuff is cut off. I can find no setting to "pull in" the corners to make it fit or any options to adjust the picture in any of the settings. The picture on the TV is nice once you get where you need to go, but it's clunky and slow and being unable to set HDMI 1 as the default input when switched on just results in a lot of wasted time as does trying to scroll through a channel guide and see what's on. I've just been using it as an extra monitor because anything else just takes too much time.
