She can navigate the menu herself and the picture is bright and clear. Her cartoons and shows look really vivid and it is perfect.

Can you switch off for our Eagles tailgating. Clear picture and plenty brightening off to be saying in the sunlight. We will see how it holds up but so far five stars.

The good: picture is plenty bright and colors are vivid and well saturated using the default settings. Everything else sux about this tv. Audio is very midrangey. No bass and muffled treble no matter how you tweak settings. Flesh tones on screen aren't quite right no matter how you tweak the settings there too. Worst part, it always boots to the Fire TV menu and takes a LOT of button presses to just get back the antenna input and channel you were watching before you turned it off. The tv does NOT support "last channel recall" so I'm constantly hitting 4 buttons to return to my prior channel whereas all my other tv's are just a single "last channel" button on my 3rd party multiremote and other Insignia remotes. It's also buggy thanks to Amazon's lousy code. In less than 20 minutes of use, while changing over the air channels (channel down), it suddenly froze for about 30 seconds and then rebooted. Even when working, it's VERY slow to change channels or even show the numbers I'm pressing on my other, older insignia remote. In fact, it's slow with and in apps too. I also HATE that it's remote has no numbers, just channel up and down. That's why I have to use a 3rd party multiremote with this. If there were only 1 drawback, I might keep this and suffer but with all these issues, it's going back as a return. It would have been my 5th Insignia. Never again. I wish they still made their older Insignia non-smart tv. It was superior to this in EVERY way.

He has it in his room and was easily able to connect all the different apps he likes using seamlessly. Being a FireTV it is connected to my account and I can monitor what he is watching, but he's a good kid so no need to! Size is perfect for a small room.

I bought this 32" to replace a 24" I've had for about 10 years. I am also today purchasing a 43" Insignia to replace a 5 yr old LG. I have the shelf stereo as well, love that.

Disappointed that the holes for mounting in on the same TV wall mount weren't as low they were higher so our TV sits too low.
