Since I have an older box that has a coax cable. The tv did not recognize the cable box when hooked to the coax input since that is for a digital antenna. Basically I had to spend money for an adapter or deal with trying to get a new cable box. So now I have to rent a new cable box. I would have been better off getting the non Fire TV.

Love my Fire TV!

I like to fall asleep while streaming shows; I need the white noise. By the time I wake up in the morning, the television has timed-out and turned off. It actually makes things easy for me. Additionally, I don't have to power-cycle a Fire Stick to get different apps to work properly. They work extremely well with the television's built-in software.
