Good Smart TV, but smells…

Since we didn't have a cable connection, I just use it on our wireless network, and it works reasonably well. The only thing that's off-putting is that is emits a very "plastic, electronic" smell that permeates the room. That smell is diminishing over time, but it's been about three weeks and I can still smell it every time I walk into the room.
