Very strong for overload voltage

I personally bought this TV to send it to Dominican Republic. And i did plugged in 240 volt ac outlet accidentally, and after see the tv screen black out and even white smoke come the tv. I couldn't believe that tv should work after that. But today after almost 1 year the tv still working perfectly.
