Great TV for guest bedroom

Great TV but the remote is a battery hog

Tried all the trouble shooting steps suggested to reset the remote. Tried using name brand batteries. I ended up ordering a remote from amazon for $13 for Insignia fire TVs. No issues with the new remote. From the research I did this is a known problem with fire tv remotes but it's not been fixed. Just stinks to have to spend extra $ on an additional remote.
