I tried using it as a monitor for my PC but the video quality dropped extremely low. If you just want to watch TV then this is a great deal for the size. If you want to use it for a PC monitor then I wouldn't suggest this at all.

I've come to the conclusion that fire tvs are just terrible in general. Lags terribly on menu, have to turn it off and on to get it to work with remote apps, loses wifi connection constantly.
