Piece of Junk - Stay Away
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.None of the HDMI or Composite inputs work on the this piece of garbage. The streaming part of the TV works okay and I didn't try plugging any external devices in to the thing until the 13th month - just outside of it's warranty. Insignia's customer support are holding firm on it being out of warranty and told me to take it to a repair shop and pay to have it repaired, which seems pointless for a TV that cost $160 - I might as well buy a new one. In the past I have always gone with higher end brands like Samsung, Sony, LG and even Vizio, but I figured what could possibly go wrong with buying a budget house brand like Insignia? Lesson learned I guess. This will be the last Insignia product I ever own. If you are considering buying an Insignia product, don't. Spend the extra $ on a reputable brand - stay away.

Haven’t Watched this TV

Maintenance installed it for her. They are not allowing outside visitors so I have never been able to see it. Guess it works okay because she hasn’t complained.

Since the speakers are in the back it’s hard to hear the words and I have a small house !

Decent for the sale price

Thank god I bought it before Bidens inflation jacked up the price. If I had to buy another one I’d get a much better smart tv.

Not your ideal tv

You can get the local channels but not by number (I.e. Ch 5) but by the network and it’s alphabetical! I was surprised when I opened the box! But it was an “open box” deal and for $130 I kept the TV!

Turns itself off

This TV turns itself off after 40 minutes or so of inactivity- Even if you are watching a show that lasts an hour off it goes. No way to disable sleep timer. Otherwise great TV.
