I bought this TV for my bedroom and it works perfectly. It’s the perfect size, the picture quality is great, and the sound is very nice as well. Setting up the tv was quick, and it walks you through the steps to sign into your different accounts. I also like that the remote has buttons for Netflix and Hulu. Would definitely recommend.

I'm in love with this TV! I can't help it!

I really hate to admit that, the heading of how I love this TV. Why? Because it's a store brand, and store brands are so commonly known for being subpar quality it's actually something of a stereotype for them. From that I never expected anything more than a basic 32 inch TV that just happens to be a smart model. But no, it's amazing, and I've had a lot of TV's since flat screens came out, several dozens. So what's so great about this? Everything. The presets for sound & picture are on point. It probably doesn't have the quality that the top tier brands do, but at the same time it's about maximizing what any given TV is capable of. And this does that to great effect. The remote leaves something to be desired in terms of size as it is a Firestick remote, but I don't hold that against it at all because I knew what to expect when I got it and for those unaware of what you'll be getting in terms of a remote, there's a sizable picture of it on the box. So even if you plan on switching to a bigger universal remote it's really not a valid argument or claim to say that you don't know what your getting for a remote. Ok, remote aside and acceptable (as it is functional and good working) there's the inputs. Which thankfully there are 3 HDMI inputs and standard A/V (red, white & yellow) inputs for a basic DVD player or older game system, and a lot of TV's, even smart models, only give you 2 HDMI inputs, so 3 really is welcome and appreciated. Ok, so TV quality & offering are covered. Backup to unboxing this bad boy. Maybe pay attention as some on the shelf are sketchy boxes sorta beat-up, so just look first and don't automatically grab the first one you see. Ok, cut it open and you'll spot the legs/feet on either side of the foam on top, there's a label taped in the middle of the foam, remote is under that label. Fish around the back of the TV screen and you can't miss a good sized bag with the legs/feet screws, manual, remote batteries and power cord. Assembly is a snap except it might take a second to get the screws in the legs/feet holes, otherwise it's fine. Some leave the plastic trim on, but it's quite noticeable and you'll at least want to take off the yellow sticker on the bottom right side as it cuts into the view of the actual screen. Plugged in and devices hooked up, power on. Starts with initial and super easy setup, I skipped smart setup initially and went straight to channel scan. Got a ton of channels with my antenna and started seeing which one's. Nice, click over and check the main input I most commonly use. Start watching and seeing that it goes smoothly. See, some TV's will have you adjust everything on every input the first time you use them. Say you changed the pic and/or aspect ratio settings for broadcast TV, you'll have to change the pic and/or aspect ratio settings the first time you use any given input. That's kind of annoying. Not too smart for a smart TV. However with this TV it's smart enough that all that isn't necessary, it does it for you. Ok, so yeah, comparably speaking this TV is brilliant! But then, many will likely question reliability and how long it's likely to last. I mean, seriously that's a big aspect for how good of a deal any piece of electronics is, right? Well I may have started by saying that this is a store brand, and that's of course true, but I really should add and emphasize that it's quite possibly the best store brand there is. Seriously, show me a better store brand. Moreover, Best Buy's store brands are still going strong for many who bought one of their TV's 7-10 years or more ago. So clearly while not as old of a brand as the top tier brands they still have a good history of quality products. The icing on this cake is it was only $129.99, not the regular price, but I've noticed it's frequently on sale for at or around that price. Absolutely recommend this.

I purchased this TV for my bedroom and it is perfect! The picture is great and the set up was super easy. I have Amazon Prime and also AT&T Direct Stream which is added to my Firestick. I chose this TV because it has Amazon Prime included and the remote is just like the one for my firestick. The added bonus is the price! This is my second Insignia TV purchase and I highly recommend the brand. I ranked the sound as "Average" only because I never used the sound, I hooked up a sound bar to it.

I LOVE this t.v.! I bought it for my bedroom on Black Friday, and it is the perfect size. The picture is perfect - very sharp, perfect color, etc. When I turn it on and go to Netflix, it connects immediately. My older t.v., which is just from 2015, takes about a minute to connect to Netflix. So, this is a huge improvement. There's just no lag in this t.v. at all. The only downfall of this t.v. is that it is a dust magnet. Overnight, it was covered in dust, and even if I wipe it down every day it reappears the next day. I've never had this happen with anything before. I'm not sure if it's from the protective tape that was removed when I received it or what, but I wish I had left it on now!

Loved this tv. Bought it back in 2019 and it just started acting up due to my 3 little ones all under the age of 3 opening and closing their dresser drawers causing it to fall on different occasions. The sounds started going first and then the picture but again LOVEDDD this tv. Great quality sound and picture able to control different Amazon accounts and the content that can be watched! Just loved it all definitely recommend. Just went and purchased a replacement today lol!

Perfect TV for my daughter's room. We have several Amazon Fire TV devices around the house so we are overly familiar with the layout and interface. I was looking for something simple and affordable that would be an easy mount-to-the-wall project. This fit the bill perfectly. Also, this is my first NON-Samsung TV purchase dating all the way back to 2006! Took me awhile to feel comfortable turning the corner on that, but reading tons of others' helpful reviews on here and Amazon helped reassure me this TV would be a good bet. Great TV, great remote, seamless activity to get it out of the box, on the wall, hooked up to my network, and running. Good stuff Insignia, you've got a nice, easy, and affordable television here.

Have had this TV since November. Was easy to set up. Picture is great. Volume is ok for most apps, but I ordered a movie through Amazon and though the background noise is audible, the dialect is impossible to hear. Also, Hulu is a HUGE issue. It lags, freezes, shuts down frequently. Watching a half hour TV show, I have to restart everything at least twice. Had the same issues with the AMC app. So, if you only use Netflix and your cable channels, I would recommend, as it was cheap. Otherwise, hold out for something better.

Buy only if directly connected to router

This is my review of both the Insignia 32 inch smart Amazon Fire software that comes with theTV . Although I have only had the tv a few days,so far is has a good picture and excellent sound. However if you are think that this tv is going to operate on the internet wirelessly ,probably that ain’t going to happen because the software and the ability for it to discover wifi is horrible. I can stream movies any where in my house from my computer. My house has 3 floors. My router is on the top floor. This tells me that any connection issues are not the fault of my router. Before buying the Insignia I bought a Toshiba smart tv with the same Amazon fire software as the Insignia tv. Both tv’s were in the same room as the router. At first both tv’s had the same problems and the same error messages-no internet connection. I returned the Toshiba, at the advice of Toshiba tech support, After reading the reviews on the Toshiba, many of which had the same complaint, I then bought a Philips Roku tv which worked perfectly but had no browser and no ethernet. Finally I bought the Insignia; Result: same problem and same advice from Insignia tech support as from Toshiba. “Take it back to the store” Of course it took some hours of testing to finally diagnose the real problem. Finally once I hard wired the tv via ethernet it worked perfectly Bottom line: The tv is good so far but the software and tech components used to discover wi fi ,suck. Also do not depend on tech support for real answers. Unless you can connect the tv directly to your router ,DON’T BUY A FIRE TV.

I've never owned a smart tv before, and don't even have a smart phone, so I was worried this would be complicated for me to set up and operate. Honestly, the hardest part was finding where the power input plugged in to! (it's a bit hidden with no markings) Setup was quite easy once I turned it on, and no problems with anything functioning. I'm a little disappointed in the sound quality, I'm going to need to hook up an external speaker due to it being low quality unless the volume is very loud. I need to be mindful of neighbors in my apartment. The only thing I haven't figgured out, is if there is a way to have it default to playing my cable TV channels when turned on, rather than going to settings every time from the home screen. It seems I'm stuck with that.

I live in a small apartment and this TV fits perfectly. It's not too big and not too small. The image and sound quality is good. The built-in Amazon Fire-TV app is slightly buggy and slow sometimes, but it can usually be solved by turning TV off and on.

Not the best tv for using over air

This is a nice tv for the price I payed. It was very easy to put together but it has a very strong smell to it at first but it is slowly going away. The picture is way better then my old 11 year old tv. The sound is very good and has good volume. The only thing is that I was not able to get a spectrum app on it. In the end I had to put a roku on it. I dont understand why fire stick does not have spectrums app. The other problem I am having is when I use my antenna for over the air tv I get a lot of picture brake up. I am about 10 miles from the tower so I am not that far away.
