    I had a bad experience buying an opened box insignia tv. It came without a remote(which was specified), I bought two different remote sets and tried everything but all the tv did was turn on and off, the remote never paired. It took me a while to realize this issue(was out of town) cause I’ve bought opened box items previously and never had an issue with them. I went to the store a month after to report the issue and did get a refund, repair , not replacement for an item that I assumed was sold to me knowing the previous owner had the same issue. Very disappointed with my experience overall. I really hope you’ll take into consideration testing opened box items before selling them. Thanks

    Major design flaw...Within a week out of the box, after I programmed my Amazon and Hulu account to the TV, the remote died. Now I'm unable to access the menu to delete my account info before returning it to the store, so I'm forced to buy a new one and use that remote to remove my account info from the TV that's not working so I can then return it...Nothing is full proof. I can't believe they would make a TV that can't function without a remote...What if this happened beyond the return period?! I don't want to return it and get a different model because I got it for a good price with a free Echo Dot for Black Friday, so I'm not stuck with this flaw. STUPID!!!

    As they say you get what you pay for. This was an open box, really good deal. Work well for literally two weeks and now its hard to get the apps to open. Long pause

    I purchased this TV 3 days ago and have yet to be able to use it. I turned it on, went through the required setup, went to download the apps to the TV and it just stopped. Remote wouldn't work (apart from turning it ON/OFF), nothing from the TV just frozen. I have to power cycle the TV and wait about 10 mins to be able to use the TV again just for it to tell me that it can't be connected to the Internet. I went through the steps all over again, for it to do the very same thing. The TV picture is great, the sound is average, but the inconvenience of trying to use a SMART/FIRE TV that won't STAY CONNECTED to any network is just a hassle.

    My 1st Apple tv and last. I have great internet service but this tv is slow and i have to refresh often as it freezes. You get what you pay for i suppose

    Why make a TV that auto shuts off ???

    This TV basically has everything going for it except for one of the most annoying things EVER........it has an internal idle shut off that cannot be shut off. If you are watching a show/movie and pause it to go to the bathroom, or to answer the phone, or whatever it is you need to do, after about 15 minutes the entire tv shuts down. It closes out the app and shuts down!!!! WHY !!!!! This is soooooo annoying. It is for this reason that I literally just got back from Best Buy where I returned it. I so do not recommend this TV unless you never feel a need to pause a show.

    Somewhat misleading

    I bought this TV for my 78 year old mother who has trouble seeing remote control buttons. The Alexa voice remote feature looked very appealing and the box said that it could be used to switch between inputs. I believed this to mean that you can voice command the switch between cable and internet TV. I have not been able to get this to work. You can also not use the voice command to switch channels on cable. I have not been able to use the voice command to turn the TV on or off or to set the sleep timer. It seems to only be functional when I'm switching between apps. I've reached out to customer service several times and they've told me that this isn't possible. The box seemed misleading by stating that you could switch inputs with the Alexa feature.
