    Fatal problems. Possibly bug-riddled software?

    This TV has a fatal problem. While you are watching broadcast TV channels, the unit will spontaneously "jump" over to the menu. I bought the TV for Christmas 2020. It is now Feb 7, and I've watched the TV about once a day for an average of 1 hour. During that time, I'd say this problem has occurred almost every day. At first I thought the remote control might be malfunctioning, the TV is responding much like it would if someone pressed the "menu" button on the remote. But there are subtle differences that suggest it is not a remote control problem. But to be sure, I tried moving the remote control out of the room. The problem still happens. It's a real shame. In other ways, the TV is pretty nice.

    Not satisfied. I just moved and wanted to set my daughter room up special but the TV keep glitching and the remote barley work

    We have k y been using this tv for four months and the remote no longer responds to the tv making it unuseable. I even tried to download the remote app and that won’t connect either. Extremely disappointed. What a waste of money

    Would give zero if I could

    After one day of receiving this tv, it starts messing up. The volume just goes out, the apps don’t work correctly. The smell coming from it gives me a headache. Money wasted.

    Not the best smart tv remote hard to pair tv hard to reset gets stuck on any tv page and remote 50 percent of time gets stuck. Won’t press and order

    Don't waste your money on this cheap TV!

    I purchased this TV last November for an xmas gift. It has been in use just under 6 months and the bulbs inside the TV have blown through no fault of our own and the entire screen has gone dark. I contacted Insignia for help on the issue and they have stated they will do nothing to fix the problem that their cheaply made product caused. Now I have wasted $150 on a TV that didn't even last a year. Do yourself a favor and spend your money on a product that works longterm! Shame on you Insignia for selling such crappy products to your customers,I will never be purchasing their products again!

    Strong Plastic Smell

    Out of the box it smelled like a new TV with that plastic electronic odor but not a smell from the electronic parts though. Entire TV had the odor and when powered on it compounded. After about 3 hours of being powered on the odor made me so nauseous and throat scratchy. Toxic? I turned off and put in another room overnight. Next day odor took over whole house. Too many horror stories on the net (and reviews here) how to get to rid of smell or let it outgas however many said the smell never goes away. TV would be in bedroom and I'd be unable to tolerate it enough to wait to see if smell went away and risk exceeding Best Buy Return policy. So I returned it. Insignia should check the reviews all over the net. Seemed like a good TV. Shame.

    Non stop streaming disruptions!

    Purchased this TV on Wednesday, 11/25 and it’s such a disappointment. Whether I’m watching programs on an app or live TV, my streaming is dropped over and over. Now I understand why this TV is priced at $99 and it’s just not worth it. I hope returning it won’t be problematic because I got rid of some of the elements of the original packaging. This was supposed to replace an older Insignia TV which I’ve had for 5 years and a standard Firestick, but it’s a terrible product and beyond disappointing. I’ll be returning ASAP.

    The tv is ok, its a process that you need to get used to for watching tv. This is no big deal. The issue i am having is the fact that the remote control keeps draining batteries ( AAA x2) ever 4to5 daya to the poiint i have to put new ones. This has already cost me almost what i paid for the tv. This is horrible and needs fixing. Come on insignia let's make this right.

    Bad at connections

    I got this tv as a gift. I was so happy to have the tv but everything changed two days later. It doesn’t stay connected to my Wi-Fi. So it’s takes 10 minutes to get through 2 minutes of anything you watch. I should have tossed it right to the garbage once I say it was a firetv. All the fire products are horrible in my opinion.

    TV truths

    Can't get apps wanted, missed playoff game because I don't have a smartphone to scan with, tried with my tablet didn't work. I had all the sports apps but something changed and it asking to put in a code to sign in with provider on most apps, that didn't work either after trying for 1 hour I shut it off and my guests said it was a piece of garbage to. I will never purchase this TV again. Think I'll stick with Roku or Samsung. wish I could give it a -4 rating.

    I was given one for Christmas it played 2wks. And I notice half of the TV begin show squiggley lines and top half a picture. Cut it off and back on no picture squiggley all over. Call the manufacturer and sent a picture, these people told me I did it myself to the TV. I WAS upset DO NOT BUY. I would give a zero if could, they never attempted to help. Who would mess up their OWN CHRISTMAS PRESENT just NUTS!!!!

    Don’t waste your money. This tv belongs in the trash. First of all it thinks I’m in a different country other than the US therefore I have trouble watching certain shows and movies. It constantly freezes and lags and I have to restart it at least once a day. When I open apps they often crash. The cheap price is indicative of the quality. Save yourself the headache.

    Poor audio quality

    Great price but picture quality isn’t the best and the audio is muffled. I tried different audio settings but still muffled. I will be returning this tv.

    Dont buy this crap

    Its a piece of crap. My receipt isnt saved in my past purchases either hmmm. The remote stops working randomly and ive changed the batteries 3 times. It stays frozen on the insignia firetv screen for minutes. The tv randomly shuts off like its just clocking out for the day. Its been the worst experience and i will avoid this brand at all costs. Can bestbuy come pickup and recycle their junk?

    the worst TV I have ever purchased. Frustrating on the slowness of the processor. Cannot run anything outside of the FireTv amazon products very well. Will shut off randomly while watching Over the Air Tv. Stay away from FireTv products, totally worthless
