Because when I turn the tv on it worked, but all of a sudden an error message would show to where I couldn't go to the home screen, or it would load with the fire tv logo upon turning on, I would have to unplug and plug back up sometimes which didn't work like today, and do a reset factory/update no use though. I did noticed the screen was smeared a little if I'm not mistaken, and the tv didn't recognized the remote once or twice. I got a refund, and now I'm shopping for another tv. I liked the insignia fire tv edition, but not the malfunctioning. Bad apple that someone returned, that I bought, and returned also due to bad factory business.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It happens once, and you blow it off, 20, you get annoyed, but after 50, you start leaving bad reviews… it wont respond or connect to other devices, or it reboots randomly, or freezes up, and you have to unplug it… return it before its to late!!!

Picture and sound OK, though limited options on how to adjust it. Tried to hook up my Roku to it, but would not acknowledge my wifi connection, after several different tactics. Ended up returning and buying a Roku TV.

Trying to click through the apps or even the settings and it lags after you click on the remote, (has brand new batteries too). Then tonight, it was literally turning back on after I was clicking the power button on the remote. I'm going to call Best Buy tomorrow to see what can be done about this. We just bought it last week and I'm not happy with it.
