    TV seems OK. I prefer a remote with numbers. The website referral to the owner's manual does not find an owner's manual for this model. That is very disappointing.

    Don’t buy open box tv no worth the discount

    Bought an open box tv seemed like a good deal however even though the website shows that a it comes with key components (like a remote that is essential to set up the tv) I called the number on the website they said that the store could replace the missing components. Went to the store and the manager informed me that they wouldn’t replace it but would gladly sell me a new remote. Which would pretty much bring the cost up to a new TV.

    Slowest TV on the Planet

    Despite having pretty decent picture quality, this TV seems to be using the slowest processor imaginable. The smart functions are virtually unusable due to how slow the TV is. It’s one of the most frustrating piece of electronic garbage I’ve ever encountered. I bought two of these for my kids’ rooms, and both are hot garbage. So, I know I didn’t just get a bad one. How these things have managed to get so many 5 star reviews is one of the world’s great mysteries. If you value your time, money, and sanity, avoid this TV.

    The viewing is nice but as soon as I set up my tv with all my apps the tv told me it was too crowded and needed to be cleaned up, meaning remove apps. To me that says this tv doesn’t have enough storage or memory or whatever you want to call it for todays streaming trends. I’m disappointed

    This smart tv isn't worth it. The remote control sux up battery powers like whales sucking up water to eat. To use the tv, I must install two new AAA batteries in the remote control weekly. To extend batteries use, I remove from the remote control when the tv is off and, at times, when I am watching. I definitely do not recommend this BRAND at all.

    This is worst tv I have ever owned. I was wondering why it was so cheap and nobody offered a warranty. That should've been a red flag. It shuts down daily with some error telling me to call customer service. I don't even know which customer service. Now it's randomly rebooting itself multiple times a day too. It has to be the tv because my firestick didn't do this. I've only had the tv for 2 months. The sound isn't even audible until it hits 30, then it ends up being too loud. I will not buy the Insignia brand again.

    Have to clear data, like a computer, in order to download new apps. But that's why it was so cheap. Decent if you want cheap and don't need a main TV.

    The Fire system lacks adequate memory. I need to reboot my tv every 2-3 days. Avoid the aggravation—buy a name brand Roku tv for a few dollars more.

    Won't run google play so can't download some apps

    After 3 hours of trying and connecting with 2 support agents at google, finally learned that this 'smart tv' is too dumb to use google play and so cannot download the app I specifically bought the tv to use. Online reviews of the app said any modern smart tv could run it (and this one would too if I could download it) but I guess this one isn't all that modern.

    AD based TV

    This is probably the worst TV I have purchased in the last 20 years. The TV can not be setup to be just an over the air (antenna) TV. You can not disable the ADs that are displayed when you turn on the TV. If you are an Amazon fan this might be right for you. You can not use this as a TV without an Amazon account. It appears the only way to prevent in app purchases is to turn on parental controls and require a pin for purchases. This then requires the PIN for changing a lot of settings. The TV guide is interspersed with Prime Video ads. It takes going through almost every setting to minimize the AD experience (but you can not eliminate it.) Alexa comes built into the remote. I found no options to disable or restrict it and it really wants you to use it. More screen clutter than I have ever seen. The initial antenna setup failed several times and required multiple factory resets before successfully completing scanning. It starts with finding 46 channels and not ever completing the scan even though it said 100% (needed factory reset), then not to being able to even select scanning (again factory resets) before finally being able completing the scan. All of this was after multiple updates and restarts were performed until it appeared to be up to date. Online help was really on from community based forums which was mostly do another factory reset and start over, disable as many of the notifications and privacy sharing settings as possible. One final factory reset has been done, the TV is packed and get returned tomorrow.
