NEVER DO OPEN BOX

We did curbside pickup and we were only given the tv, no remote and no cord to plug the tv in with. We went inside after only realizing there was no remote and they took about 30 mins to figure out how to get us a remote that wasn't even meant for our tv, but apparently "universal". We get back to try the tv and the remote to the tv won't connect and we had to order a cord off of amazon because it didn't come with one.

Spend the money & buy a better brand!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i have 2 of these in this size & 1 bigger one & i hate all 3! even after programming the tv to start when you turn it on Uverse it still turns on fire tv home instead. it also always freezes & no its not my wireless signal. i have cleared the cache on all apps. restarted the tv & unplugged it for a little while to clear it & it starts all over again soon after! these things are absolute junk. there si also such a latency with the remote signal as it never sees it at first... i have one TV in the house thats an LG & it never gives any of these issues! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS THING!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worst TV I've ever owned and will never have another Fire TV again. It is paaaiiinnfully slow. At everything. And the remote eats through batteries at least once a month; doesn't matter the brand of batteries, it will need them again in three to four weeks. Meanwhile, I've had the same batteries in my other TV remotes for probably a year. The firmware is awful. The interface is awful. It force closes out of apps or freezes. OR we'll be watching something on an app one night and the very next night we're signed out of said app and have to redo signing in all over again. Genuinely don't understand how this thing has the ratings it does, which is why I purchased it to begin with.

Sound issues and streaming issues. Don’t recommen
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this and a larger Insignia Fire TV Black Friday 2021. The amount of use for both TVs was minimal. Within the last week, the volume on both of them started going in and out and are now unusable. Prior to that, had problems with both TVs trying to even access streaming services without crashing. If it had been one I’d think it was a glitch. But it was both TVs. Do not recommend.

Good for streaming, not cable

If your primary source of watching TV is through Amazon, then I'm sure this is great. I got this for my daughter to use in college where she gets cable included in her rent. We have yet to figure out how to just watch cable on it. It is not intuitive at all and to even get to the cable/antenna settings takes forever- and when there it's not working anyway.

Worst TV ever!

It was great for about a year, but over the past year, we have had nothing but probkrms. We had to delete every app we could, and that left us only Amazon owned apps, which can't be deleted, but we were getting "critically low memory" warnings and nothing could fix it. We finally got a flash drive and used that for memory and also had to buy an external fire stick just so we could download apps. Now when we power the TV on, it takes about 15 minutes before we're able to go to the input that the fire stick is on to be able to watch. We did go into the settings so that the TV would power on already on the Fire Stick, but it goes back to default if we don't watch the TV for more than 2 or 3 days.

Garbage.

One is ridiculously slow that , that my son doesn’t even use it anymore and the second the sound keeps going in and out. Constantly and it drives me crazy. Stay away from this cheap crap and buy something worth while.

Bad

Took it home, unpacked everything, still had all the plastic around frame, accessories still untouched. Plugged it in, turned on, surprise! Shattered screen. You can't tell unless you turn it on. Looks like previous buyer dropped it straight out of the box and repackaged everything. SHAME ON BEST BUY for reselling WITHOUT testing it. All they had to do was turn it on. Now i got to drive back the 30 something miles to return it. Big waste of time. All because of best buy laziness.

You get what you pay for (next to nothing)

We bought this for use at trade shows, so it did not get very much use at all. The first time we used it, half the screen went dark. After way more hassle than should have been necessary, Best Buy replaced it with a new one. The very first time we plugged it in, the USB slot was not working properly (and that is what we needed at our trade shows) so we never even got to use it. Tech support kept suggesting things that didn't even exist in the menu of this display. You get what you pay for. AVOID the Insignia brand and go with LG or one of the other more reputable brands unless you want to risk experiencing what we did.

The tv never went pass the language selection set up.I should of known better, you get what you pay for.Maybe we got a lemon but i think its plenty of these insigna lemons out there.

Only lasted until the warranty was up.

I had to go out of town for a week and when i came back home to return it i was a day late and said return not accepted anymore.so now i gotta buy everything it should have came with .......
