This item is very handy, but not bright enough. I returned all of them to local the Best Buy store and purchase a much brighter one.

Powerful flashlight
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The flashlight comes with a beautiful sturdy Velcro strap case that you can attach to just about anything, including a belt or knapsack. The light is LED so I am assuming it should last a long time. They use 3 AAA batteries. They have 4 settings. The brightest light is 350 Lumens. Its so bright, you can only use them for far away things. There are Bright, Medium, and Dim settings and Dim is more than enough light for things up close. And then there is a strobe setting. The casing is metal and feels sturdy. Unlike other flashlights, this one does not have a light focus. Its not waterproof but weather resistant. I can finally throw away my old huge flashlights that were never brighter than the dimmest setting on this one. When I unpacked this flashlight, it exceeded my expectations.

We bought it whole on sale, and still don't think it was worth the money. The light constantly flickers from I can only assume to be is a bad ground connection. I would have taken it back but didnt have the time.

Battery terminal is defective

They came with insignia AAAs, when those died I put in brand new Duracells, and nothing, nada. No light or any sort of life. Obviously I double checked batteries etc. Its like the flashlight just decided to quit for heck of it.

Bad quality

Extremely bright, good flashlight for a short time

Even when not using, it discharges steadily, so keep an eye on charge level otherwise not useful when really needed. Right now is in garbage as after last recharge it never turns off, a very dim beam stays on 24/7. I did about twenty charge cycles, so make your guess about reliability.
