Very portable and quiet, this unit efficiently cools two rooms. The price was reasonable, and I’ve already recommended it to two family members, both of whom have purchased it and love it too!

It did not disappoint. It provided the additional air conditioning desires.

It’s a little bigger than I expected, I guess because it’s a “portable” AC but I like that it has wheels so it’s easier to move around. Wasn’t too hard to set up and it blows off really crisp air! Only thing is that it’s pretty loud

You don't need an AC in the Bay area, they said. Life is much more pleasant getting through Indian summer in comfort. On a more serious note, we have 2 very senior dogs, and they are so much happier and active, since we're able to cool the house during the day and night. Works excellently, cools the room within minutes.

It was so easy to assemble it took me about 15 minutes to complete. I plugged it in and instantly my room became fresh. Strongly recommend getting this portable ac. Comes with a remote so when at night I get too cold I can switch modes.

Excellent AC for small rooms during the summer months. Just be mindful of the square footage because if you get one too small it may not cool the room good enough. However, if you get a good sized AC your room will be a chilly wonderland. Just make sure to have a big enough bucket for the water it collects, especially if it's really humid. Had to re-buy it due to SQ issue.

Blows cold air and is very easy to use, only down side is it can get very noisy.

This is a great AC to cool even a larger space than what I thought. I keep it on the low setting and even then it is almost too powerful for my purposes. As far as efficiency this is a great AC. However it is way too loud. I cannot watch TV while it is running. I can’t use it at night because it wakes me up every time it kicks on. In my opinion this is not a unit for a bedroom but maybe used in a larger room would work better. Again, great unit but just a little more than what I need.

My a/c unit has been running for 4 weeks now without a single hitch. It is pumping out very cold air flawlessly. I just installed blackout curtains and hope that will give the a/c a break now and again, though summer is just getting started. It is not the quietest unit, but the sound is very relaxing. We'll see how it affects my electricity bill after another few weeks.

The house AC picked the hottest day of the year to terminate its existence. I went into Best Buy with few expectations that I would find a temporary fix. Best Buy had a nice selection and the Insignia model seemed to be a great solution. And it was. It cooled the living room and dining room of the house to the desired temperature. I am quite pleased with the purchase.

Works very well. Very cold. Only thing missing is an internet connection so it back be controlled via the internet.

We have two of these now and they are very good for the price (especially open box if you can score one) they aren't super quiet, but they're good enough to be in an office with headphones on or sleeping with earplugs. The only thing is that the drip hose is very low and so it makes it difficult to find a large enough catch vessel so you don't have to dump it every couple of hours.

I picked it up when it was on sale. I have a small bedroom, but I wanted something I could move to the living room when needed. I wont be using this for more than 10 days a year for Seattle weather, so didn't want to spend a lot of money. My living room is decent size and this unit cools it pretty well, I felt the room nice and comfortable in about 20 mins. I cant speak for the reliability of the Insignia brand yet as I have only had it for a week now. Build quality looks really well and on par with the more expensive LG and Honeywell units.

Works great. A little loud if you are trying to watch tv.

It's good for a bedroom, only problem is that the fan is loud and can keep you from falling asleep. Its affordability is the only reason I didn't give it a 3 star.

This was a game changer, perfect cooling for a smaller space. And it was a life saver with this recent heatwave we had in the valley. I will say it’s a bit noisy but not a deal breaker.

Works well for a single room. Best to have doorways blocked as they draw alot of air from all areas in the house unlike window units. My guess is because of the condensing onto the condensing coil. Conclusion is Works well for a single room unless you want to run a condensate line.
