After reading the reviews, I was ready to purchase a stronger unit as it claims only up to 350 sq feet. I installed it in the guest bedroom upstairs where it normally gets hot and the central A/C cannot cool it down. Unit worked great and was constantly on for 30 + days since I purchased it. Never an issue, fan runs all the time, A/C will kick on when needed. I drained the water after 30+ days of constant use and there was a limited amount in there. My only complain would be that it's loud, but not horrible.

I have 2 of these and they run great. Def a solid purchase! Cools down both floors in my house.

This was a game changer, perfect cooling for a smaller space. And it was a life saver with this recent heatwave we had in the valley. I will say it’s a bit noisy but not a deal breaker.

It’s a little bigger than I expected, I guess because it’s a “portable” AC but I like that it has wheels so it’s easier to move around. Wasn’t too hard to set up and it blows off really crisp air! Only thing is that it’s pretty loud

Works great! The wheels make it very easy to move around. Only thing I would recommend is to purchase a longer drain hose and run it outside because if you’re in a high humidity area like I am, you will be emptying the reservoir every 2 hours.

My a/c unit has been running for 4 weeks now without a single hitch. It is pumping out very cold air flawlessly. I just installed blackout curtains and hope that will give the a/c a break now and again, though summer is just getting started. It is not the quietest unit, but the sound is very relaxing. We'll see how it affects my electricity bill after another few weeks.

Blows cold air and is very easy to use, only down side is it can get very noisy.

Product works well and was easy to install. The only thing I wasn't completely satisfied with is that it doesn't seem to completely cool the square footage indicated.

Very easy to install. Cools our living room and kitchen area quickly. The only thing to note is that it does not have a tray to empty the water. There is a small tube on the back that needs to be removed and then drained by tilting the ac or connecting a hose. Not difficult to do but different than my other portable ac.

It cools good I wish the hose was a little longer Amazon has longer ones I might try can't find one yet at Best Buy. And I wish the air had a large outlet there not too big of a deal I would recommend it

This is a great AC to cool even a larger space than what I thought. I keep it on the low setting and even then it is almost too powerful for my purposes. As far as efficiency this is a great AC. However it is way too loud. I cannot watch TV while it is running. I can’t use it at night because it wakes me up every time it kicks on. In my opinion this is not a unit for a bedroom but maybe used in a larger room would work better. Again, great unit but just a little more than what I need.

Works great. Easy to set up keeps are master bedroom nice and cool.

The product is good at night, during the day it takes a long time to cool down. The tube heats up quite a bit and releases a lot of water. Overall, it works for me for the moment.

I picked it up when it was on sale. I have a small bedroom, but I wanted something I could move to the living room when needed. I wont be using this for more than 10 days a year for Seattle weather, so didn't want to spend a lot of money. My living room is decent size and this unit cools it pretty well, I felt the room nice and comfortable in about 20 mins. I cant speak for the reliability of the Insignia brand yet as I have only had it for a week now. Build quality looks really well and on par with the more expensive LG and Honeywell units.

The product is easy to assemble. I have it in my medium-sized living room (3rd floor apartment) and it does cool the space however, on really warm days, it's an avaergae colling.

works great for the grandkid's bedroom, the house A/C broke .... in Florida so I needed something to keep them comfortable until I replaced my house A/c...this did not disappoint!

It cools the room pretty quickly but it’s a bit loud. Also, think it’s too much power for my room and keeps blowing out the power. Needed something a little less powerful instead of 8,000 should of gotten 6,00 or 7,00 but waited to log for the exchange

This Portable air conditioner was a life saver. I got this Insignia model in exchange for a defective EQK model. By far easiest set up and a multitude of functions. That were great and the value.

We have a larger than 350sq ft area, (living room, dining room, kitchen and extra open space) and this portable AC is doing great! I had to remove window AC's because they werent doing much. But this unit blows cold air and fills in the room area very quickly! The additional bonus of having a timer and remote control is awesome. Its not too noisy either. Delivery was super fast and arrived 2 days earlier.

Great product, easy set up. Cools the room in minutes. Actually quieter than I thought it was going to be. You can definitely hear the noise difference when the compressor kicks on but it's not too bad. You can easily drop the temperature in a room while the rest of the house stays at the whatever your main ac is set at. Already thinking about buying a second one...
