We needed a temporary solution while our central was waiting for parts for a repair. I looked at a huge number of makes and models, but not one would handle a window as large as the one I needed. Finally, I looked at the specs for this one, which I had ignored being the Best Buy brand (Insignia), figuring if the name brands can't than this can't either. But I was wrong. This one supports larger windows than any other I could find. I liked the remote. The setup was relatively simple. It worked well. I was very happy with the purchase.

It cools down with enough time for me to leave for 10 minutes and return to a chilled room. Perfect summer portable AC

Expected one room cooled down in my condo but it made them all!!! Electricity bills didn't go up as well. Since my stationary AC unit was repaired it works as a spare unit as well!!! Would like to recommend!

Output of cool air is great. Larger units do require an occasional drainage of condensation water but it's not complicated.

Remote is worthless

The remote is worthless. We only use it on our deck so the twenty steps is no big deal. Why give us a remote is it doesn't work??!!

I love that you only need to drain water if it’s on the dehumidifier setting. It’s not very quiet but not so loud as to be annoying. Great option especially for the price
