I bought this unit to get me by while waiting for the a/c in my apartment to get fixed. The unit claims being able to cool up to 350 sq. ft but I beg to differ, this little bad boy kept my entire 2BR, 2BA (868 sq. ft) apartment comfortable. In short, I am thoroughly impressed by it's performance.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It cools well, puts out quite a bit of air doesnt look too bad in the room, but, if you needed this as the only room AC, and you dont have a drain in that room, it is a pain. I live in the south, its humid, and have this in my bonus room, and it only runs, 30 minutes or so before the auto shutoff kicks in because the water reservoir is full. And the drain is so low, i had to put it on blocks to use something besides a cooking sheet, which is what the manual suggests to empty the water. If i needed it to run all night, i would never get any sleep. That being said, i only use it for short periods of time, and hour or 2, and i have a bucket next to the tupperware container, i use now to empty it. So it is adequate for what i need it for.

It is not good to have with children around because they like to play with the hose that connects to the window. I live in an older building and I couldn't use this item when I wanted to use my air fryer in the kitchen. It was too many BTUs for my apartment unit to use both items at once.

I use it in my office when im gaming because the PC will heat up the room to 90⁰+ and this cools it back down very easily. Puts out a TON of water, but just regularly check the pan or whatever yiu use to hold the excess water and youre fine.
