The window vent kit is also sleeker, sturdier & easier to use. I just hope this Insignia doesn't stop working after 3yrs like my last one. Extra window vent kit panels & pins for sliding glass doors should be included or at least sold so that you could easily buy them. I have to try & find the extra panels & pins that fit perfectly with the window vent kit. So far I've been unsuccessful.

It was so easy to manage installation, and the workmen were pleasant and cordile during delievery and setup. They showed me a few things about handling the machine and it was very simple actually. I live on the 3rd floor and thankfully I have a second shower that is stand up. So, that makes it a little easier.

Louisiana heat is terrible when the central unit is out in an older home! If anything changes, I’ll edit to specify what it is.

Arrived with water plug broken off and had to return/reship new one. Put in finished attic where temps are high and keeps it cool. Also got 4 yr warranty due to plan on using it daily.

The water drain is located very low on the machine. Difficult if you have carpeting. Other than that, it is quite useful.

A little work to get it in a sliding window bc you have to cut wood to put on top but well worth it. It cools down the room super fast!

Unfortunately I have been very disappointed with my new AC as it does not cool as expected. Room size is well below 350sqft so no excuses as to why the room isn’t cooled appropriately. Also you have set continuous every time you turn the AC on, the unit does not hold this setting as it does the other settings.
