Good unit AC works pretty well, we like it just fine

the only issue I've had is it turns off randomly, maybe it correlates with the room temperature. Works great no problems as of yet

Bought an open box-excellent condition online and there were parts missing. Contacted Best buy and were told that everything should be in the box if it was advertised as excellent, but we could bring back the item to the store to get the parts we needed. Rented a truck because the AC unit was too big for my car. Brought it back and geek squad said they don’t have the parts I need. Talked to customer service and they said it should still be under the manufacturer warranty. Went through insignia and they escalated the case but was ultimately told they couldn’t do anything. Since we were initially told by Best Buy that we had to bring the full unit back to the store with the receipt in order for them to give us the missing parts which was delayed due to the fact that it was too big to fit upright (unit says not to lay flat or tilt. Has to be upright) and having to rent a truck to properly transport, we are outside of the 15 day return window. Now we have an incomplete AC unit that we can’t return

Works very well cools down my room nicely. Have had no issues.

These are larger than other portable air conditioners of this size but they do the job. It might be worth trying out open box as they are as low as $90-$110

My studio is small but at 80 degree outside it's fighting to keep the area cool. Noisy too

Normally I like the insignia products but I believe I got one that is a little defective. It leaks out the bottom front corner (slow drip or condensation). It ruined my wood floor. I still use it, but I need to put a towel underneath it. Really disappointed that this happened...of course it didn't happen until a few weeks after I bought it and already threw out the box. I have one in my bedroom and my dad has one that I bought him for his house, and both of those don't leak. It cools the room fine and I like how it works otherwise the slow leak.
