It cooled off my ~250 sqft office in no time and there were many days I had to raise the temperature since it became quite cold. It was a little loud but that was to be expected since there is a blower/compressor running in such a small package but noise cancelling headphones drowned it out. Pretty disappointed that it only lasted a year before it died.

Cold air does come out, but the exhaust hose gets REALLY hot. I had it in a master bedroom and it was running 24/7 to cool it down and maintain it being cold. I will say it was 110 outside, so no easy task, but just wasn't up to the job. Perhaps in milder climates it's better. I returned both of them. The other one couldn't keep a small office/den cool and kept tripping the circuit breaker.
