So glad I purchased this unit. Its still going strong after a year of use and keeps us cool during heat waves. Easy to set up, move around, and use. It’s a bit bulky but hasnt been an issue as we typically set it up in the corner of a room. Cools fast! The fan does blow loud so if im on a call i do step into a different room or pause it. At night, we set it on a timer 30min before bed so that when we’re ready to sleep the room is nice and cool. It was suppose to be temporary, but im considering getting another after receiving quotes for central ac. Works best in bedrooms, but i have used it in a much larger living room if its REALLY hot. Took much longer, but did cool it down a few degrees to make it manageable.

My home has no central AC so I turned to this plus one small window unit for the hot humid summers and this is now the 2nd summer with this unit and it’s been GREAT. Life changer. My 1200sq ft home stays comfortable and cool enough with this running on the auto setting and not having to turn it down super low. It’s easy to set up and my window is secure. It’s clean and white so it doesn’t look junky which I appreciate. The only 2 downsides are obviously the size, it does have a decent little footprint in the living room, but I can live with it for the summer months. The other con is that the window vent, although easy to set up and fits well, has no cover over it. I hate the idea of any type of bug or critter just hopping into the hose and nesting in there or trying to get into the house through it so I purchased a gutter screen and secure it over the bottom of the window each year when I set this up. This helps to ensure the bottom exterior portion of the window and hose vent hole has a screen over it blocking anything that can’t fit through a screen from coming in.

Bought this to replace an older model that finally gave up after last summer, and very pleased. Have had it for a week or two, and it's done a very nice job cooling a large room (over 200 sq ft). Very easy to install; noise level is about what I expected for this size unit - not super quiet, but doesn't keep us from sleeping.

Our heat pump broke down and we had to buy 2 units to cool a couple rooms down in this 90 degree weather. Set up was easy and took less than 15 minutes. Noise level is just like a hotel room AC unit, it's not whisper quiet, but it beats sweating to death. The remote is a nice feature especially at night when you want to adjust the unit. I wish it would turn completely off when the desired temp is reached and then back on when it needs to cool again. Again, it beats the heat.

Wasn't to loud as others have mentioned falls into the sound range of a normal fan running in a room. Helped keep my master bedroom warm at night without having to cool the whole rest of the house. Set-up was easy and the foam provided was enough to provide a proper seal on the window. Over worth it.

Best Buy and Insignia do it again!! As I expected, I couldn't be happier purchasing an Insignia appliance from Best Buy, especially when I bought it as a recent "Deal of the Day!" The unit works very well, and I really like the Swing function that helps to circulate the air more thoroughly in a bedroom with a vaulted ceiling. I also like the full function remote control, as well as the flexibility between functions (Dry, Fan, Cool, and Auto), fan speeds (continuous is great!!), the timer, and sleep. It was also very easy to install and offers many options based on the type of window. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this product to anyone in search of a fantastic portable air conditioner at an affordable price!!

I was skeptical at first. I don’t like spending a lot of money on things. We have central air but it’s not enough flow upstairs. So I wanted a portable one. I read the reviews of many. Settled for this one. So glad I did. I love the remote so I can turn it on/off whenever. Easy set-up. Doesn’t take up too much space. Most importantly it cools about the size of room it says it does. I mean it’s not instantaneously but it happens rather quick in my opinion. Def recommend.

I took my time so I can give my review I will say it been a month with this. Portable ac. Work really good I buy 2 of this one for my room other for my guest room and work pretty good the only problem the I have it’s I have to be taken out the water from the tank ones a week

Solid unit. Used in a bedroom. Was easy to set up. Only con is the vent on the inside rattles at times. Our room gets up to 90 in summer, we have it set to 68 and it gets the room to 69-70 degrees. Did buy this open box so was worth the money.

This thing is small but mighty. Our air went out and I purchased 2 of these to use in our bedrooms. It was easy to install and it more than gets the job done. And it doesn't leak a ton of water. I love this.

Our living room is bigger than 350sq and is an open space going to the kitchen and it covers a good amount of the area! The air is super cool and was very easy to install. It can be a bit loud when it blasts air to maintain the temperature, but other than that no complaints!

400 sq foot garage that doubles as my office insulated, this ac does excellent in that space. For smaller spaces I'd recommend the 250sq ft version which I also own. Both are excellent. Maybe a tad noisy would be my only gripe but not enough to drop a star. It's an excellent unit and easy to setup.

It works good but for the price I wish it wasn’t so loud. It keeps the room cool but not cold. It goes to about 62 degrees and it will auto shut off. It’s an easy set up and I love how it can move around easily.

Great price for a powerful unit. 350 Sq Ft is no problem. Bought as an emergency purchase to combat 100°+ heatwave while our central AC is replaced. Great timing huh? Either way, this unit worked its tail off keeping our family comfortable, especially our Golden Retievers lol!

This portable ac unit is defirnitely worth it. It cools my bedroom all the way to 62° cold. My kids love it as well because its portable. It has many other functions that you can use. Very worth the price!

Easy assembly, works great. I have a two bedroom apartment and needed something to at least keep the sweltering heat from consuming the entire apartment. This worked better than I expected, half of my apartment is cool and comfortable now

We bought this unit for our park model trailer and so far it has been a blessing. The trailer is about 375 sq. feet and the unit cools it off just fine. I don't think it is any louder than your standard window air conditioner so I don't see it as a problem. All in all I am very pleased with this purchase.
