Underpowered Piece of ...

There was a 3-5 second lag navigating the Fire TV system. It restarted multiple times a day. It cut off after just a few minutes with an app on pause, causing you to start over. It was basically garbage and an embarrassment to the Best Buy, Amazon, and Insignia brands. I'm glad they let me return it.

Constantly skipping or restarting

After the first week or two of using it, we’ve had problems almost daily ever since. My 7 year old tv that this replaced was more reliable, but unfortunately it finally broke and needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, we ended up worse off.

TV turns on by itself!

My husband has had to turn them off in the morning on his way out the door for work at least 4 times a week! We're not sure if the FireTV is the cause or the TV itself, but I'll never buy another one of these again!

Will not operate without a remote. Was told a universal remote would work. Won't. Purchased a compatible remote. Didn't work. Called support for assist. No assist offered. Was told to schedule a repair. Took it back. (Did purchase a 43" Insignia.)

Keeps glitching

I just had set it up and Best Buy informed me that I’m a couple days past the exchange warranty and the company that made the tv isn’t offering any help.

A joke tv came no remote stuck in store mode

Can’t go in to look at it because of coronavirus get home there’s no remote and the tv is stuck in set up mode. I want to kick somebody in the teeth. Scammers

I guess they know that's going to happen. Otherwise, why the 1 year warranty? I'm on disability. Now I have to shell out more money on a tv because the one I bought didnt even last 1 1/2 years. What a big fat joke that these tvs die so quickly.

dont buy!

It worked for about 1 week and then it said it could find wifi connection. i called my internet company and they came out today and told me it wasn't my wifi it is the TV. Wifi picked up on all my other devices except the tv.

Better off in the trash

It takes 5+ seconds for the TV to respond to the remote if it ever does. Takes a long time to go through the menu. Lots of skipping and non-responsiveness. I would not recommend this TV.

Not a good Smart TV

Once we made the switch to use only OTP programming, it was awful. The television would literally switch off in the middle of a show. Not buffer, but completely turn off. We are ready to junk it.

Broke after 1 year

It would get stuck on the startup screen just after it passed the 1-year warranty period. Insignia support was unhelpful and now I’m stuck with a TV that doesn’t work at all
