Good for the price but won’t last long.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this tv for almost 4 years now. After the 2nd year it started getting slower and slower to the point where it finally was unbearable to try and watch anything on it. Will be replacing it soon.

Great Kodi Box
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even on a slow internet it gives all the over the air info. Great internet TV box and even runs Kodi 18 at 1080p 60fps. Looks like the same chip set as the latest firestick. Needs to be set to go to the last channel viewed when turned on but this is easy to remedy. Runs over dual WiFi so no need for cables.

Good Smart TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased two of these TVs on March 19, 2019 and so far I love them both. I placed one in my bedroom and the other in the guest room for when family comes and stays over. The one in the guest room had a bit of a rough time updating when I first turned it on, but it got going after initial " star-up".

Exactly What I Need
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv gives me exactly what I need. It has all the apps I use, downloading apps is easy and setting it up was easy. The only thing that bothers me is when I want to use a VPN on Netflix, I can't. I can use my VPN on my phone and my laptop, but not this tv. Oh well.

no balance control for external speakers (DUMB)
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. From the manual: "On some TVs the headphone jack and audio out jack are combined into one jack." I'm using this TV out on my patio with a pair of analog external speakers. The TV is not centered between the speakers, and I want to balance the volume between them. The only way to connect analog speakers is with the headphone/audio out jack. When you plug into this output, it automatically turns off the internal speakers (makes sense for headphones) but you lose audio settings, including L/R balance. That makes sense for headphones, but not external speakers. I'd rather have the option to turn the internal speakers off manually, and have control over balance than this setup.

Weak Tuner
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have cable without a box. Tuner is so weak that it would not pick up or program the channels. Apparently this is a known issue by my cable company and internet searches. Did not work for my use. I took it back. The Smart features appeared to work fine. Picture was good.

Very good value for the money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the fire TV option. Adds so many new choices, takes tv watching to a new level. Lots of inputs, 3 HDMI, USB, OPTICAL, only a swival base could improve it. Great buy!

Sleep button users beware!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just replaced my 5 year old Insignia 39" with this one. Basically it's the same TV. One REALLY ANNOYING "upgrade" is that the remote no longer has a sleep button. If you use the sleep feature, you may want to look elsewhere. This model has the sleep feature but you have to click through multiple screens from the main menu to get to it. On the old model it was a dedicated button on the remote.

Nice TV, Toshiba Rebrand
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice TV. Good display. Appears to be a Toshiba re-brand due to Amazon app incompatibility (such as Plex for Fire TV)

Inconvenient and frustrated
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just bought a new tv after 7 years. While the picture is clearer, it fails to meet my expectations in very crucial ways of my daily use. 1. Picture setting. The picture is too bright at night (it hurts my eyes) so I want to lower the light. I have to press the home button, which loses the current picture and moves to the home page, then I have to go to setting, choose the input and adjust it. During the day, it is too dark, so I have to repeat this again. And I have to do this every time. There is no short cut I can set so I have to do this adjustment every time. It is so inconvenient and frustrating. 2. I mostly use a TV with HDMI like apple tv. With my TV before, if I turn off the tv, the input stays on HDMI after I turn it back on. With this TV, every time I turn it on, it resets the channel (input) so I have to scroll down and choose HDMI again. Every time. It is SO FRUSTRATING. I miss my old TV. It was simple and easy. This TV is not smart.

Thank you for sharing this review with us. I completely understand that this can be frustrating, however both of your issues have a quick fix since they come from the settings. Please give us a call at 1-877-467-4289 so we can give you on how to adjust that.

Would not recommend
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv lasted from Dec 1 2019- March 10 2023. The remote quit working some time in 2021. Less than 4 years (and less than that for an expensive remote) is pretty bad, imo. We have a 50 inch Insignia that we bought later on (late 2021, i believe) that still works but now im worried it wont last too. I replaced this tv with the tv it replaced, a Dynex, that has went unused since we bought this one. The Dynex is from Nov 2010 and its working great. I wont purchase another Insignia product.
