    A remote that constantly needs updating...requiring you to sit and wait for minutes while it does whatever it is doing...meanwhile you can’t watch tv.....the tv always turned on to the Home Screen even though I selected Last Input in Settings and a “smart” tv that doesn’t include channel numbers in the listings...wow....so much wrong for one tv....returned it and won’t be buying anymore Insignia “smart” tv's.

    We’ve had tv for 2 months,a few weeks ago it started to turn on by itself in the middle of the night,location is our bedroom,now turns on at least 3 times per night and now during the day also! I am searching for answers online,the responses are ridiculous,Insignia,please give me a logical answer,this tv is not operating normal.If this keeps up,I’ll have to get rid of it.

    To start with, unit might respond to remote or it might not when watchin movie on Hulu, crackle, etc... #2. Unit comes on all by itself. Took batteries out of remote, removed all network sources, and it still comes on intermittently BY ITSSELF...#3 On several occasions unit needed to be unplugged and reset to factory. Watchin tv and pressing home button sends u to gray screen. #4 limited bluetooth options, I can bluetooth into my stereo but not my portable speaker.

    Huge Regret

    This tv would just cut off on its own while I was watching. I would turn it back on but it would cut off again. This happen too many times to count. It was very frustrating and annoying. I noticed it would cut off a lot while I was using the sling tv app. The screen would also turn light green at random times during commercials. I also heard a buzzing sound for about 5 seconds while the tv was on on several occasions. I had this tv in my possession for only 10 days and had all these problems from the first day of watching. The reviews seemed mixed. Some people got a good tv some didn’t. I do not recommend this tv to anyone. I returned it and bought the trusted brand Samsung model NU6070.

    slow interface

    This TV interface is MUCH slower than my previous fire TV stick. Everything feels much slower if you come from a direct stick 4K. The 1 second delay on click does not seem much but it is frustrating . A regular TV and the latest firetv stick would have been a better purchase than this all in one tv

    Software update screwed up my parenets

    This would have been a 5-star review, were it not for a bad software update and useless support. I set this up for my 80-year old parents. I set the power on preference to "Last Input". I connected the HDMI1 port to the cable box. All was right with the world. Now, that setting is now longer honored. I spent 45 minutes on the phone teaching them how to navigate the home and settings menus to verify the power on preference. Then we switched it to Home and then back to Last Input to try to get the TV to start behaving. No dice. Now, no matter what, they have to put down the cable remote, pick up the TV remote, and select the HDMI1 port after powering on just to watch cable. Piece of unreliable garbage.

    Not a very good TV. Only 4 gig memory, unless you buy a memory stick, which I did. This TV will just throw you off of antennae channels for no apparent reason. It constantly requires over the air updates, but they never really enhance the performance of the TV, they just keep it from freezing up. Definitely WOULD NOT purchase again.

    Insignia fire TV

    My insignia TV lasted for about 3 years. After that it wouldn't turn on anymore. You get what you pay for. I had the same problem with my Insignia refrigerator too which broke after 2-3 years. Called customer service/Geek squad they wouldn't do anything because I did not buy their product quaruantee. I will never buy Insignia products again

    TV screen freezes and apps shut down

    I really loved this tv for the first two weeks. Afterwards, the TV screen started to freeze for up to a minute at a time, which was usually followed by the app within the Smart TV shutting down entirely. It happens multiple times withing minutes of each other. I bought this TV on 03/26. It's been a few weeks and I already don't like it.

    Sound quality is poor

    I bought this TV for my bedroom. The picture is fair. But the sound is so bad. I had to buy a sound bar. Little did I know, the bluetooth option is not truly an option. As I was trying to set it up I realized I have to purchase Roku speakers to use a bluetooth device. These speakers are 179.99 (what I paid for the tv.) If you want to be able to hear the tv, then I suggest not buying this one.

    POOR PIX QUALITY, NO REAL HANDSHAKE WITH NETFLIX

    Picture setting. Beiges were green, contrast was extreme. To change levels, you press the home button, which loses the current picture and moves to the home page, so you're guessing at the correct level. I called customer service and they said that's how it works because Insignia is an Amazon brand and it doesn't work well with netflix. So much for that.

    I bought this tv for a 83 women in nursing home I thought it would be fun for her to talk to alexa. and change channels with her voice. THIS TV REQUIRES A CREDIT CARD TO USE !!!!! Oh and a amazon account !!!!! I told the salesperson who I was buying it for they should have told me tv only works with a credit card.

    Tv is frozen on Choose your Language screen. Will not do anything else and couldn’t get connection to wifi
