My sister and I just went to Best Buy to pick up one of these for each of us. I was very impressed with the service. I called from home and ordered 2 of these over the phone with 2 HDMI cables. We arrived at the store parked by the pickup door the tvs were right at the register, right inside the door. I paid for them. The young man put them in our car and we drove off. I went home and had my tv hooked up and watching it in 20 minutes not kidding. Love the picture, easy set up, The sound is great. I give this TV a big thumbs up. If you have a lot of money you want to spend then you can go out and buy a Samsung or whatever but I am part of the working class and this is luxury to me. If you buy this TV 329$ you won't be dissapointed.

Great first HD tv. Easy to set up. Cheap! This connected easily with my Blu-ray player and I am loving the picture. Not high-end quality, but definitely fairly priced and a quality product.

It would be nice if there were some more inputs 2 HDMI 1 component or composite connection plus the standard "cable over the air" connection We have a WII and an Xbox so there is 1 HDMI and the composite connection then the satellite box is on the other HDMI if I wanted to add a media pc or set top box I need a switch. But we looked for months and at this price point this one is a winner

Good bedroom TV

Bought this TV to replace a 32" wall mount in our bedroom. It has decent picture but doesn't blow you away like the higher end 1080's. In fact the picture isnt that much better than the 720 that it replaced. While it isn't the TV i would use to set up an "entertainment" center, it does the job in our fairly small bedroom. Sound quality is good. Easy to adjust. DEFINITELY worth it compared to similar size but "better" brands for a lot more money, especially if it last as long as the tv it replaced.

I had to make a purchasing decision strictly on budget, so I chose this item because of the two year warranty.
This unit is a classic "get what you pay for" device. There are just two HDMI ports, no outputs for audio, and no VGA input for computer connections. That said, I am very impressed with the picture quality. The sound quality leaves a little to be desired, but is more than acceptable.
Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase given what I paid.

We spent a considerable amount of time comparing features, ratings, and price before deciding that this TV was the one for us. The frosted glass cuts down on window glare. It doesn't weigh much so mounting it on the wall would be easy, if necessary. The sound is strong, but doesn't carry much bass. However, that could just be our settings. It was on sale when we bought it. Then it went on sale again at an even better price two weeks later. It is a value either way.

I bought this tv a few days ago when our 40" dynex in the bedroom died after almost 4 years.it was still under extended warranty so no complaints there.i was suprised that the picture was as good as it is. it looks almost as good as the sony led in the living room.the best part for me is the sound it sounds normal which is good for the bedroom.a lot of the newer tvs sound like a clock radio so you have to buy a sound bar or surround sound which adds to the price.the only real problem i see is there are not very many inputs and especially no vga input.since it is in the bedroom this isnt a problem for me but if you are gonna make it your main tv it could be.all in all for $329 plus $50 for 4 year warranty i cant complain.

We already have an Insignia 47" and I really like it. We were looking for a 32" TV to replace our old tube TV. We ended getting this 39" since it was a better deal than most 32" TV's. I found that it was easy to set-up and was expecting the sound to be so so based on the reviews, but its actually good.

I had been shopping for a 37-40" tv for quite some time before I settled on this model. I'm not a huge technophile but I certainly wanted the most I could get for my purchase dollar. I ended up paying $350 and was pleased. Picture quality very good, and built in speakers adequate. I intitally had an issue setting up my Roku player and had to call Insignia technical support. Much to my surprise I reached a live person inside of 60 seconds who walked me through some troubleshooting and resolved my issue. All said, for the value, 2 year warranty, and quality, I am very pleased with my purchase.

Have read about poor sound quality. I find no issues with the sound and the picture is very good. Paid $429.99, but see the price is now reduced to $349.99. Heading back to Best Buy to take advantage of the 30-day price guarantee. TV is used in living room with close seating. Picture color fades a bit when viewed from the side, but still really like this TV.

Very Good to Excellent Picture Quality for Price

This is a great TV for the price! Very good to excellent sharpness and black levels. You will need to tweak the picture settings somewhat for the best picture. Colors are excessively pushed with the preset picture settings. Various picture control settings to get the best picture.
Sound is average but can also be improved by adjusting the bass levels to get more full sound. This TV was to replace a 32 Toshiba tube that was in a cabinet that was just about 37 inches wide and this Insignia 39 fit the bill at 36 1/2 inches wide! For the price of $349 it is well worth the price and looks great in the bedroom corner cabinet.
The built in ASTC tuner is strong and I currently pick up about 25 over the air HD channels using a outdoor UHF antenna. Would recommend if you are looking for a budget HDTV or have to meet special dimensions.

I have a hutch that is 36.5 inches wide, so this thing fits in there perfectly. I wanted a 40 inch tv, but that was too big and 37 seemed too small. The HD picture is above average and at times great. There is no doubt this is not a 2k Sony or Samsung, but for $349 I am more then happy. 2 HDMI inputs so perfect for my setup (DVD and Fios). The only bad thing I have to say about it is the sound is awful. Another review said like headphones or something and that may be too nice. I have a SoundFreaq Sound Platform that I hooked up through my Fios box and this provides more then adequate sound and looks good with the tv. A sound bar or some other sound system is necessary. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

After my old crt tube TV went out, I decided to do research and buy an LCD HDTV. I looked at many bands and sizes, and compared LCD, LED and Plasma. I still like the look of the pic onn an LCD over the others. This tv has the inputs and outputs I needed and also has surround sound (suppise) built in. (Nice bonus - its not in the specs on here.) I have had the TV 1 week and I am very happy with my purchase. You will be too. ** Get it on sale at $349 **

The TV is excellent with bright, sharp colors. It has the ports for gaming consoles, headphones and and HDMI input port. It has everything you could want from a more expensive model, yet it was very reasonably priced.

I was skeptical at first with this model being an insignia, having heard some prior negative reviews. However i could not beat the deal i got on it for the screen size. I orded it and it was at my door in two days. It was super easy to hook up. I did it by myself in less than ten minutes. The picture is great on it. I have my xbox 360 to it and it is awesome. Great product for the price. Should invest in one of these tvs.
