I researched T.V.'s for about a month as I only had aprox. $400.- to spend on a set and wanted at least a 37'. What a treat to find this set - 39' that fit my budget, and per the reviews this is a great set, I have had no problems, and when I set it up and had to call tech. support, they were helpful and knew exactly how to resolve my issue. LOVE my T.V. Recommend purchasing this set. Great value!

This is a great CHEAP HDTV. If you don't care about 3D or built-in apps, this is a great choice. I have a PS3 for Netflix, MLB.TV, etc., so all I wanted was a good picture and this TV looked better than the other more expensive ones in the store so I bought it and love it. It isn't super thin, but you could still hang it on a wall. Just got it yesterday and I watched the Blade Runner Blu-Ray and it was AMAZING. Buy that, too. Also, Killzone 3 and Rage look unbelievable. If you already have a PS3 or something that has apps and games built in, this is a great looking TV. If you want a 'smart TV', this one doesn't have that stuff.

Our old console TV in the master bedroom finally went out. Decided to look for something to replace it, but didn't need anything high end. Saw this TV in the sale circular and decided to look it over. For under $400, this TV is great for a bedroom or other smaller room. The picture is clear and sharp.

I went and bought this T.V. yesterday and right out from the box this thing worked like a charm. I had no problems setting it up and the sound and picture are amazing. I may have been one of the lucky few who didn't have issues out of the box but either way I would recommend this T.V. Also i mainly use the T.V . to play games and watch movies nothing else really but still amazing.

Bought this TV 3 weeks ago. It went on sale the next week and Best Buy gave me the difference back with no hassle. This Tv has a great picture for the price. Sporting events are very clear and life like. I do have HD on this TV but non HD programs look very good. Sound is only fair at best but for the price it is what you would expect. I have it hooked up to two 100 watt speakers so when I am watching a movie or music event I switch to the external speakers. No it does not have multiple hookups but I do have a DVD player and my speakers hooked up and still have one HD connection available if needed. If you are looking for a TV with a great picture for a low price this is the TV for you.

When I saw this on sale for 329.99, I had to get it. I have a 2 year old Insignia 32" 1080p tv and I love it. Very good picture. So I knew this would be very comparable. After hooking it up to my HD cable box using the HDMI connections (for the highest quality picture), I began to adjust the contrast, brightness, color, tint, sharpness. On the HDMI inputs, they assume the picture is so good that you don't need to adjust anything except brightness and contrast. The other adjustments for color, tint, sharpness are "grayed out". I am a bit picky so like to adjust them to my liking. Since a picture thru HDMI jacks is such a detailed picture, you can run the sharpness all the way up on most HDTVs and have an incredible picture. Not on this one. That's like buying a car with a stick shift for the fun of it, and then finding out there is only 1 gear. Unacceptable to me and I returned it. Most people may not care or even think about it, but that's pretty lame to have such a good tv, but it can't be adjusted to your settings. Even under the "custom picture", you can only adjust contrast and brightness. I returned it and the clerk told me that his Sony 46" was the same way. That's very lame for manufacturers to do.

I was looking at a 32" LCD TV for my bedroom and for a comparable amount, I saw that I could actually get this 39". It's a great deal for the price! The only downside some might find is there is only 1 Composite, 1 Component and 2 HDMI inputs, all on the side. For a bedroom setup where I only have a few components, this works fine for me. But it would not be suitable for a living room TV for me. I do like how you can label all of your inputs, nice touch. The speakers are surprisingly good. The last Dynex LCD I bought has very poor tinny-sounding speakers. The surround sound feature is a nice addition, but switching it on just makes the audio sound like it coming from behind the TV. I prefer it turned off. Video quality is good, but it did take quite a bit of tweaking and calibrating. After that one-time adjustment, it looks very good.

Bought this tv when we were looking for something to replace our old 27" CRT that finally died. The tv looks great and sounds great, but thats about it. There are no extras, frills, or anything of the like.

Fit perfectly into our Entertainment Center. Picture is nice and has enough hook ups for our Wii (component), PS3 (HDMI), and DVR/DVD/VCR (HDMI). Working great since the day we purchased it. One thing that is tedious is that every input has a seperate save for all picture settings. Annoying to set every single input for quality. You will have to adjust to get it like you want it.

I purchased this tv strictly because of the price and size. Other manufacturer's wanted way too much money for smaller sizes. Tv is a great value. I use it for gaming and the picture is clear.

I think this is a great unit. Those who are critical of it are expecting a $1,000 unit. This is an affordable TV for the size with a great picture. The sound may not be stereo but if your looking for stereo sound but a surround sound with the money you saved. I have no problems with this unit and love it so far. My friend who bought a Dynex was raving about his until he saw mine. Granted these are sony quality but I cant tell the difference.

We put this in our large corner unit, so had to tweak the sound with lots of bass, but we love everything about the tv. We're hooked into surround sound for movies, but don't find the need to do anything extra for regular tv viewing. Awesome picture right out of the box. Wii through component cables, and added a bluray dvd with internet. Shopped around and the 39 inch Insignia was an incredible value at Best Buy.

Great TV I wasn't too sure about it when I bought it as I watch mostly sports and lcd's normally have issues unless they're te high end with good refresh speed. This TV has amazed me with its picture. Football, hockey golf all look fantastic.

A very good TV for the price. The picture is great, but the sound is a bit tinny. Plus, we haven't been able to figure out how to hook up our DVD player to it.

Just bought this Television, it was a great price and the picture is excellent. My son plays alot of games (XBox 360 and Playstation 3), and the picture quailty is amazing especially with the HDMI cables.
