Good product, lackluster delivery/customer service
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seems to be a good fridge, but mine came with a couple big dents on the door and Best Buy's customer service response was disappointing. I recommend the product...but I would buy it elsewhere

Nice features - quality fridge
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We needed a mini fridge for the overflow from our regular fridge. The small cube mini fridges are too small for our needs for the 4.4 Cu Ft size was perfect for us. Some of the key features which make this a nice fridge are the glass shelves (many mini fridges have wire shelves) and adequate space in the door for 18 12 oz cans of soda. There is also a light which most mini fridges don't have. We also like the adjustable feet so the fridge can sit level on the floor. Other features include a temperature control (from 32 to 50 degrees). The back is flat unlike many mini fridges so it can be placed close to a wall. You can also reverse the direction of the door which is generally standard in most (not all) mini fridges. We have had good luck with most Insignia products. It's the house brand of Best Buy but I believe they take care to source good suppliers for Insignia products. The last mini fridge (from a large, name brand provider) only lasted two years so we are counting on this to last for many years into the future.

Arrived damaged
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice size but arrived damaged. The shipping box arrived in perfect condition so it appears likely it was packaged up already damaged. Even though I bought the protection plan when I clicked the Best Buy support chat I was told there is nothing they can do to help. I’ve learned my lesson on buying with Best Buy.

Compact refrigeration convenience
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Insignia 4.4 Cubic Feet Compact Refrigerator offers a great balance of style, functionality, and adaptability. Ideal for those extra refrigeration needs during parties, family gatherings, and even for staging food for BBQs, this compact refrigerator is a game-changer. With a capacity of 4.4 cubic feet, it offers ample storage space for a multitude of food and beverage items. The unit's black, smooth finish lends a modern, sleek look that complements any kitchen décor, dorm room, basement or where I have it on my back deck, making it a stylish addition to your home. The refrigerator is impressive in terms of its dimensions. Standing at 33.1 inches high, 18.7 inches wide, and 21.9 inches deep, it is unobtrusive while still offering plenty of storage. One of its greatest advantages is its flat back design, which enables the fridge to sit flush against the wall, minimizing the footprint and saving valuable kitchen space. It boasts a net weight of 47.6 lbs, making it reasonably lightweight for a refrigerator of this size and capacity. One of the standout features is the refrigerator's temperature range, which is adjustable between 32 and 50°F. This broad range ensures that the fridge can cater to your unique needs, whether it's to keep drinks refreshingly cool or store sensitive food items at an ideal temperature. I have a pizza oven and BBQ Griddle, I placed the Insignia 4.4 cu ft fridge in between them and I have peace of mind that my homemade pizza dough will stay fresh and ready for baking, meats will be at the ready for cooking and that my beverages will remain perfectly chilled. In terms of organization, the Insignia 4.4 Cubic Feet Compact Refrigerator comes with three glass shelves. These shelves offer durability and a clean look while providing a sturdy platform for food storage. Furthermore, they help you maintain an organized fridge, making it easier to find what you're looking for and efficiently use the available space. What takes the convenience to another level are the three door trays designed to hold up to 18, 12 oz cans. No more will you have to wonder where to put all the soda cans when the party's about to start. They are situated perfectly to allow easy access, while the design prevents any risk of cans rolling out when the door is opened. One of the most noteworthy features is the reversible door with a recessed handle. This provides versatility to set the door swing direction according to your convenience, whether you're placing the fridge in a corner or the middle of a room. The recessed handle further contributes to the compact and smooth design, without any protrusions. However, it's important to note that this refrigerator doesn't come with an ice maker. While this may be a downside for some, it actually grants more space for storage. If ice isn't a daily necessity for you, the absence of an ice maker shouldn't be a major concern. The aesthetic appeal of this fridge is also worth highlighting. It goes beyond the smooth, black finish and extends to its modern, LED lighting. Not only does this make it easier to find items in the refrigerator, but it also adds a modern look, turning the fridge into a stylish appliance that enhances the ambiance of your kitchen. A common problem with many refrigerators is the inability to maintain a consistent temperature, which can result in spoiled food. This is not an issue with the Insignia 4.4 Cubic Feet Compact Refrigerator. It maintains its temperature exceptionally well, ensuring that your food stays fresh and safe to consume. To sum up, the Insignia 4.4 Cubic Feet Compact Refrigerator is an impressive appliance that perfectly blends aesthetics, practicality, and versatility. It's thoughtfully designed to meet diverse refrigeration needs while saving space. Its user-friendly features like the adjustable temperature range, the door trays, and the glass shelves make it an ideal choice for those needing additional refrigerator space or folks who need a small fridge due to space limitations.

A Cavernous Mini That's Not Too Big
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a refrigerator to keep in my office area for myself and my team. This mini fridge intrigued me with both its 4.4 cu ft inside and its relatively small exterior. Packaging The packaging for this product was solid. There’s A LOT of tape on this thing, so just make sure you look it over a couple times. If the tape gets left on there too long, it tends to leave residue that’s a little difficult to get off. If you do happen to find a piece a little later on, just peel the tape off and then put some WD40 on the residue. Rub it with a cloth a couple of times, and poof! Works like a charm! And it says it on the packaging, but remember, DO NOT turn this fridge on for 24 hours after moving. It can mess up the compressor which would make this fridge nothing but a glorified storage box. Size As stated the inside of this thing is shockingly huge compared to other mini’s I’ve owned. The footprint for the fridge is similar to other minis. The one main difference is the height. While other minis may fit underneath a conventional desk, this mini is a little to tall to do so. This didn’t affect my office, as we had a spot in mind where height restrictions weren’t a concern. Internal Storage There’s not much to say. The shelves are solid and large. The storage on the door is good for small condiments and soft drinks. It’s sleek and clean and the 5000k light makes it that much nicer to see inside. Everything seems well built. Sound Not saying our office is completely silent, but this fridge goes unnoticed. I have yet to hear it at all. While it’s not completely silent, it’s nothing I’ve noticed at all. Overall this fridge is churning well. Everything is ice cold and with plenty of room, our whole team can use it. I would recommend this to friends and family, with the only caveat being if they had height constraints.

Defective from the start and no support
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looked nice, just did not work from the time it was plugged in. Tried to get support, but even though I have the Total Care package, they wanted me to call the manufacture to get support? They told me no in-home support, so have to bring back the unit to Best Buy (like a laptop, just a little heavier). Very disappointed in what looked like a nice unit, and disappointed in how Best Buy sold me the Total Care as in home support.

Temperature and noise issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The size is great with holding a lot of items. However, not good for food. Couldn’t get the temperature 40 degrees or lower even on the lowest setting. Using a smart thermometer, the temperature fluctuates too much even when not opened for hours. When below the recommended temp line, the noises get louder and more frequent. Unfortunately didn’t see the short 15-day return window otherwise I’d return it.

Refrigerator Only
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The coolant lines are apparently run through the bottom. Cold Air Falls. After 5 weeks of daily rotation of a digital thermometer rhe bottom two shelfs would be +/- 24F degrees while the top would be 47F degrees. I worked the thermostat several times from center to colder. We took 8t back and traded for a frrezer refrigerator model which works fine.

Very disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the 3.3 version of this refrigerator a year ago and I liked it so much that I bought this one. This one doesn't hold temperature consistently and really struggles when filled with product. I must have just received a dud. These refrigerators are in my garage and right now the ambient temperature is cool, I'm very concerned about this performing during the warmer months.

Mini Fridge
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this as a replacement for the garage. Bigger than what we had. Like that there is no freezer. One negative is that the shelves are not adjustable. Bottles do not fit upright on the shelves (must lay them down). Door only. Not necessary but do like the light. There is some condensation on the back wall that drips into a hole. I assume it evaporates in a drip pan inside underneath. Does not appear to be a problem. I would recommend this product for the money spent.

Great mini-fridge.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So this is a great fridge for a basement, workshop, garage, bedroom. It has plenty of space. Even with the size and amount of space it provides, it's not overly bulky or heavy. I was able to easily maneuver it to where ever I decided to place it. Mind you, it's a mini-refrigerator...not a mini-fridge/freezer. There isn't a freezer compartment. I'll go ahead and get the drawback out of the way...the shelves are not adjustable, but they do provide plenty of storage space and clearance to put larger items into the doors and on the shelves. That was my only complaint so far. The positives: One it looks good. It's sleep with crisp edges. It gets cold and stays cold. I didn't have a thermometer to check but my drinks were chilled nicely. After 30 minutes of it being plugged in, I could tell the difference. It's quiet as well...even when the compressor kicks on. You'll barely notice and it will not interrupt you. Again...it doesn't have adjustable shelves but there is a ton of storage space. Overall - this is a great mini-fridge. It's definitely going to make my basement area more user friendly. Nothing fancy about it...but it works!
