I tried it out on several monitors and two other gpus to make sure there wasn't a compatality error and nothing seemed to work. I returned the cable for full price. My recommendation is that you stay away from insignia.

Seems to be a good quality cable. A bit overpriced

It was sold by mistake for a Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro. It should have been a micro HDMI instead of a mini HDMI so I couldn't use it. Anyway, if you check online you can find lots of lower priced alternatives with a similar or even better quality.
