These are braided and sturdier. They are longer as well.

They are much sturdier constructed with the braided cables and reinforced ends fir 1/2 the price of most other brands, well worth it!

Then went to Geek Squad who got me the right one! It worked fantastic to download all my CD music to my iTune file on my iPhone!
