Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'd been purchasing my iPhone/iPad chargers from Amazon because I needed threaded ones so my cats couldn't chew through them, as they have every single charger that came with the devices and you can typically get several chargers for much cheaper than retail stores. Unfortunately, the last few chargers I received from Amazon were subpar and I was down to only a few working chargers to split between myself and my daughter, leaving us stuck bringing our charger with us everywhere we went in and out of the house. This charger does as it promises...it charges my Apple devices quickly so I don't have to sit by a usable charger 90% of my time and it works well in my car so I can use my HandsFree USB port for music on my phone.

All jokes aside, CarPlay works great now, and I’ve always had good luck with Insignia cables.

We could not have made a better decision. They are a 100% better quality than Apple’s product, that we planned on purchasing. Fortunately the Apple cables were out of stock. The cables are the perfect length for when the outlet is not in the vicinity of our seating arrangements. Superior quality to Apple’s product, in my opinion.

The covering of the cords won't melt with the heat of the car and the sun, so that's why I pick these but they're turning out to be better than I thought.

Great, 1 year lifespan at least.

They each lasted approximately a year of use each. Lasted longer than many other cables I’ve had. No fraying ever happened, they just eventually wore out the USB-A connection causing them to stop working. I’m back to buy more!
