The Samsung Galaxy S5 charging cable is not a standard micro USB and the cheap cables you can find at Five Below don't allow you to transfer files to your computer. I keep this one in my bag so I always have it at work if I need to transfer pictures or in the car for charging. It charges up the phone quickly, maybe even better than the one the phone came with!

When my Samsung charger broke, I tried many other chargers searching for an alternative. All of my portable chargers were too slow. My husband's charger was a regular usb charger and was also slow, and using it for long to get a full charge was too much drama lol. This insignia charger is awesome! It charges my Samsung s5 in no time, and the charge lasts. I am so happy I bought it!

The cable that came with my seagate drive stopped working. Got this to replace it, have not had any problems playing/installing games using it.

I was disappointed to learned to replace my original cord at my carrier's store was going to cost over $23.00. Instead, I went to Best Buy for help. Based on their recommendation, I figured it would take longer to charge my phone. Instead, my phone charges from 0 to 100% in 68 minutes. My original cord would need 110 minutes. The cost is about $10.00 less as well.

This is a USB 3 cable with the proprietary samsung connection on one end for the Galaxy S5. I purchased 2 of these (one for my desk at work and one for the car; the one that came with the phone stays home). Anyway, except for the color, these cables are every bit as good. If i had to say anything negative it would be that they are a bit stiff but i've found that to be true of most USB 3 cables.

This cable fits perfectly into my Samsung 5 while it's inside its protective case. I've bought other extra cables besides the one that came with the phone, and I have to remove the case for those cables to fit into the port because they are millimeters wider than the opening in the case. I don't have that issue with this cable, and it charges as fast as the one that came with the phone.

I bought this Insignia cable for my IPhone 6 Plus. It works great. It's nice and durable and the length is perfect. The price was also very reasonable.
