Much needed accessory for the newer phone and tablets with USB 3.0 ports. Note - however, the standard USB 2.0 connectors are compatible, but transfers and charging are much slower. I would have given 5 stars if I could get a 6' or 8' cable for the price.

My Samsung Galaxy Pro stopped charging. Tried all the different cords I had accumulated over the last two years and thought there was no hope. Brought it to Best Buy and the guy plugged it in and it powered on immediately. Have no idea why but bought the new cable and it worked again. Weird, but happy.

My Galaxy 5 cell phone cord that came with the phone started tearing and I purchased this cord as a replacement. This cord is more sturdy, strong, and durable than the cord that came with the cell. The color is black which is also a bonus, to not get dirty or be seen when charging at work or places you should not be charging your cell :-)

bought this cord since the original cord my Samsung Galaxy S5 came with was starting to break/tear, especially at the ends where the connections are. This seems to be common with some cords, especially depending on how they dangle or are bent from the phone or the outlet. Anyway, this phone appears to have the same charging speed and feels a bit sturdier, which I hope is a good thing.

Overall this phone charging cable works great. I bought it as an extra phone cable for the car and I have no complaints. The price was good (not amazing), but it was good and the charger works just fine and I got what I wanted. It is a basic phone charger. It doesn't charge my phone lightning fast, but I am not sure what charger will.

I needed a new cord for my hard drive and I decided to see if I could find this. Almost bought a new drive because I couldn't find this cord but before I did a nice Best Buy associate walked me over to the mobile section and showed me this. It was exactly what I needed! Good price too!!

The cord that originally came with my husband's Samsung Note 3 ended up developing a shortage in it after he accidentally stepped on it. Someone at the T-Mobile store recommended we try best buy because they didn't carry it anymore. Well we went and they had it. And this one seems to charge faster than the original cord.

My original cord for my Galaxy S5 died, and this was recommended by the Best Buy clerk as an economic alternative, as the original cord is no longer sold. I'd been using a standard cord, but it wasn't always connecting reliably as a pin is bent. Using this keeps that pin in place, plus it's a quicker charge time.

weird that seagate doesn't make this cord to go to their product - thankful for Insignia!!!

Found an old Seagate TB in the garage that we were apparently using before we moved last year. But not the cord to connect it to the laptop. This filled the bill magnificently.

bought this as a replacement cable for an external USB drive. i thought i would have some difficulty finding the replacement part, but Best Buy had what i needed. So far, product has worked great.
