This cord replaces a damaged Samsung Tablet charging cord. It appears to be of high quality and it has been working great. I do not know why Samsung no long supplies replacement cords, but this does the trick.

I wanted a new charge cord for my Note 3, because although the factory cord wasn't that old, I still had to wiggle it around in order to get any juice to the Note 3. I went looking at Best Buy to see if there was anything better that I could use, and was pointed over to the Insignia cord I have now. The Best Buy Associate had the same phone as me, and said his phone charges a lot faster with this cord, and that was all I needed to hear and I was sold on the Insignia 3.0 USB cord from there. I haven't had any problems since upgrading from the shoddy Samsung cord, plus the length of the Insignia at four feet reaches from my laptop across to my pillow, so I can game or Facebook while it charges, with room to spare. Thanks Best Buy Associate for showing me the Insignia 3.0 USB cord!

I bought this when I was no longer able to find the official Samsung cable. Not only was this cable of great quality, but it was a really great price as well and if I needed to I'd buy a second.

My original Samsung cord was damaged so I went in to try to find a replacement because I was going out of town. This one worked just as good as the original and the price was great.

The android phone wouldn’t hold a charge. The original charge cable looked like this one. It wore out & was replaced several times with a different style. The phone wouldn’t hold a charge. Troubleshooting—maybe the phone battery needed to be replaced. The box store said the battery was no longer available on that model. Re-evaluated the cable. This cable matches the original cable, so tried it. It charges the phone completely. Problem solved.

All my samsung chargers were breaking at the end of the cord where you plug it into your phone and have not lasted. So far this one has done good charges fast and is very durable.

It was quite a surprise to find only 1 option in all of Best Buy for a USB 3.0 charging cable to use with my Samsung Galaxy S5. $20 is quite high for a simple cable, and asking for another $20-$30 for the AC outlet converter is ridiculous. I guess this is the price one pays for having a new phone that uses new tech. The charging speed and data transmission are much better with the USB 3.0 but the price needs to come down. A very good product, but price is quite a premium.

Product was exactly what I needed, much quicker to pick up at the store than order online. Reasonably priced, works well, happy to not have to use car charger

I first bought one of these to have a spare charge cable for my Galaxy Note 3, which can charge with a standard micro-USB cable, but does so more quickly with the extra contacts of a USB-3 connection. I don't actually use it for data on my phone. But then, my gf and I picked up a pair (one for each of us) of Seagate 2TB external HDs for our laptops, and what do you know? They use USB-3, too! But they each came with a connection cable that was only about 6" long. So....a couple of these and we have a) more flexibility in placement of our portable HD, and b) a short cord for recharging my Note 3 on-the-go from a portable recharge pack. win-win!

I lost the cable for the external storage that I use for my xbox one. It works perfectly. It's a bit but oh well I couldn't find anything cheaper on the market.

Good buy. I needed a cable to adapt to my WD external drive. This was perfect. A good price and quality.

It’s a special USB wire by Insignia. I use it for my external hard drives, so I can back-up my files. There isn’t much else to say, but I strongly recommend backing-up your computer files on a regular basis. Please do it at least once a month. I got lucky, and I feared my info was gonna be gone after not backing-up my files in almost a year, but I got lucky, and I was able to back-up my files before sending it to Apple to be repaired. Thank God that I was able to back-up my computer before having it repaired by Apple!

My original cable was fraying and working intermittently. I obtained my replacement and it working superbly.It is sturdy and has delivered my charges flawlessly.

I bought this to have as a back up to use with my portable charger or for in my car it works great and fits tighter in my s5 than the original cord and the price was great!

Is a Good product at a good price and great quality

This brand is very reliable and reasonably priced. The cord is very thick compared to the original one that came with my phone. I'm glad that I went with this brand.

This simple cord works well and has lasted me over a year, still working like it did the first day. There's nothing very special about this, but it does the job and comes at a good price. I'd purchase again.

Got this as a second carry along cord for my husband as his phone was always dead. It has since become his primary. Provides quicker charge and is pretty sturdy.
