4 outlets, 2 USB ports & 1 other port
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I rate this lowly, because not one month had gone and went before the product's capacity had become half of it's advertised usaged promised. The device seems to have been descripted as 4 outlets and 3 USB ports for $30-$35+ that had seemed to have a short cord. Upon receival The Device was light in weight and Funtional. Pros: 1) i had liked the 3 USB port availability/despite one of Those being for hand held devices of other than a USB port. 2) i had liked the blue light on The signal light representing the electrical current being fed into the Surge Protector. 3) I had liked that the Surge Protector had came with a flip-switch to reset the electrical current being channeled to the devices plugged into it. Allowing an Individual to flip a switch to assimilate unplugging the device for rebooting purposes. Preventing overextended frustrations, misuse or just normal wear and tear from shaking or pulling loose an outlet from it's location. That is hazardous and i was sold a Property with loose outlets that wiggle in the walls that They are screwed into...that is an Electrical Fire Hazard. So tugging onto Those wall outlets were not idealic...even while holding the socket bracket and the plug head itself to seperate the two as intended-rather than yanking on the wire like some people do. Previous Surge Protector Experience: I have spent $5-$15 on Surge Proctectors that have lasted me for over 10+years and They still are functional and seemingly built to last. Cons: 1) Where as This Surge Proctector had costed around $30-$35+ {seemingly costly} for less outlet sockets [4] with two USB ports and one type of other than USB port that had been in use for about two weeks till all Three USB Ports had somehow been broken. For none of The 3 USB Ports are Functional. I noticed that the device is receiving an electrical current, but only the 4 Outlets are functional. 2) I had thought the light in weight had been a new adaption of efficiency, but i instead suspect it of being cutting corners in the Production Costs in Manufacturing for extensive profits made to satisfy for appearence purposes. Selling at a far much higher cost than it's assembly put into production for deep pockets in profits upon sales-even at discounted prices. Explaining why seemingly quality goods break-down after minimal usage. *** It reminds me of how Quality Goods-built last were made available at affordable prices by honest to good people in the past...only to be put out of business by flashier competition. Competition that had made ineffective or cost efficient goods at lower prices for half the cost-give or take-in production that would equal steady prices despite appearing as good or discounted offers. The end result was ineffective by-products from cheap labor and/or parts that on occasion had savvy built-in functions or safety features removed as an attempt to cut costs on productions while providing the item's necessitated base functioning purpose...usually causing a decrease in wieght and all around sturdiness. Allowing big business to put good business out of work and replacing Them in Their Respective Competitive Field of Work. Upon taking over that line of work-sometimes by Force or Saborage-a big business would on occasion buy out Their competitor's good business to know what They had done correctly and how They could Re-Incorporate that into Their business' product goods. Where upon gradually over time would Reinvite incentives to Their Product Goods that Their Competitors had already placed in Their Merchandise-though instead-big business would add on those features as added incentives during advertisements to increase cost of sales. What use to be a given being brought back as added features for extra money, but a low cost-sometimes ineffective-cost in production...still causing goods being sold at a higher value for overall lower quality goods. This would stimulate sales where people would have to continously resupply on what used to be built to last merchandise for built to break-down or fall-apart merchandise for steady business as customers realize that good business had been put out of work and bad business took over for inevitably heavy profits. With no real competitors...prices could be set higher than before...gradually over time-while sabotaging or buying out New competition-and merchandise failing that original incentive of built sturdily effective to become built to last by-products that did not require constant repairs in maintenance or replacement. That ineffective built to fall apart line assemblied merchandise would continuously assure that people will be back for business-like it or not...resulting in dominating in sales of necessitated or highly demanded goods from being a top or Only contender in that line of business. Some Big business would buy older or more reliable competition-sometimes by use of Force or Sabotage-to own The Rights of Their competitor's business and/or loyal customers to take advantage of. By taking the better business to Their Main branch and servicing Their sloppy business to through Their Competitors to unofficially Slander or make for a bad reputation of Their old [previous Competitors] or older [Competitors that had been in busy for a long time.] competition. By giving a bad reputation to Their lower branches that use to be Their Competitors; big business could find ways to take advantage of the law among other things unofficially and redirect misplaced blame on scapegoats for running and operating bad business to an such an extent as breaking the law-local, state or nationwide laws-and/or the use or misuse of investments in the stock market...even to such an extent as globally applying connections to bypass pursecutions or troubling matters. Using Their Profits to coercise or buy Their Way out of Trouble...while occasionally sacrificing subordinates as Scapegoats or Pretend Executives or higher-ups in Their Business Line of Establishments. *** Though Those sorts of Things were done The Past...The Reality is that Faulty Merchandising or Unexpected Equipment Failures occur from time to time. There is a likelyhood that the merchandise was made cost efficient in the Production, but the assembly's premature failure could have been an unintended result of The Unexpected...nonetheless...this piece of equipment did Not even last pass a Full Month's Use-Not even close...something that even Uncertain or Aware of Cause for Concerns-such as health risks, factors of safety or security-usually make attempts to insure for 30 days at a minimum to sometimes...as much as 60 or 90 days gaurantee to a year and as much as 3 to 5 years of warranty in repairs or replacement...that inevitably came with a price. *** Reminding me of how some Quality Goods might have gotten sold to Those investing into Warranties or in the Know of Priviledges...where faulty merchandise would be sold to Those Whom do Not Invest in Warranties or Insurance, Whom are Not Priviledged, or will unlikely make an issue out of the matter to prevent cutting into profits by throwing out productive merchandise damage, mishandled, inoperative, ineffective, or altogether faulty merchandise by selling said merchandise to lower valued customers. Lower valued customers that big business either is Not Fond of and/or that does not receive a lot of business or recognition from. That Those buying into Warranties or Insurance usually get Quality Service and/or Merchandise so that Those Investments could be Pocketed as Profits. With an Exception of The Few that actually have to take advatage of Those Services. Some do that for Honest Reasonings...while Others do that for The Abuse of Misuse, Personal Gain or as a Trap for Slander. Other Than Those in The Know of Priviledge or are Valued Customers-typically from steady business or representing good business and/or customer relations-...it is Not too uncommon that All other customers will get a 'run-around' trying to chase after satisfying results or customer care services in repairs, replacements and/or refunds. Usually, because of Lawsuits deminshing Their Profit margines that use to allure Investors to back-up...or still do.
